While it is slow and tedious I think it’s a good mix up to set apart the people who take good racing lines, keep their speed up & stay respectful from the bad drivers. ALSO idk if it’s a glitch people are using but the smoking tires around the whole track through the whole race is terrible

Slow but fun, they are the cleanest lobby in my opinion

Apart from the Porsches, this look exactly like how a Battle machine raceday would look like. Well with the consideration of 106, m3, and evo ii being a replica Also, that first race ends in takumi vs ryan is very cool

And no one would race his Alpine A310 (or V6) on any track, if they can drive out of their garage in the first place :) Still the roster of cars is very interesting, maybe I would expect some more E36, E46 non-M on a normal trackday, but there are no 328i or 325i to buy in Forza.

The saddest part of this whole video is that none of the other players probably know what your Nissan was referencing.

I loved prostreet man. I always picked the 240sx in all the early nfs games. Pretty much carried me till late game every time.

You act like NFS ProStreet is some obscure game and not a beloved entry in the most popular racing series of all time

For those who don’t know, you can actually serve your corner cut penalty by lifting off the throttle for a bit or tapping the brakes or driving slightly off the racing line. So I I found out that: If you do a small corner cut, like isads +0.90 penalty you can serve it by tapping the brake once or twice, if it’s a large cut then you must lift off the throttle while of track and apply it a bit late when on track, if you cut and overtake someone you must let the driver you overtook gain his position back (unless he is also getting a penalty then his position will be a loss and you won’t get penalized), driving off track at straights won’t penalize you unless you are entering a corner from the straight, you can also negate previous penalty calculations (what I mean is if you are being calculated for a large penalty you can negate it by causing and serving a smaller penalty), if you bump someone off track quickly make a small collision again without causing any spin outs before the calculation ends to negate the bigger collision penalty. That’s all I learned from this system

How do you serve a penalty for a corner your rear wheel slid too wide for a fraction of a second, and like half a meter driven off, but you get hit with like 1.5 s of penalty. You went wide, you lost time, you didn't gain anything, but the game hands out a severe punishment.

I like it, it should stay in the rotation to keep things interesting, all classes should be in the rotation.

Yeah there should defs be at least more than one. They're probably trying to stop certain servers from being empty all the time but at least 2-3 different ones a week would be good.

Agreed. I have loads more fun in the lower class cars than I do the top end. Much cleaner races and arguably a more interesting assortment of cars.

Man that livery is everything. Pro Street is my favorite NFS to date; and a severely undervalued NFS title despite its flaws. I was 10 when that game came out and I just have so many vivid memories of playing that game the moment I got home from school.

I raced with you 2 nights ago in the bmw spec class at Ohio. You qualified first and I qualified third but you got taken out turn at 2 by second place. I ended up winning but another few laps and you would have definitely overtaken me. I was really looking forward to get some wheel to wheel racing with the legend!

If the race grid was a bit larger, these lobbies would be exactly a resemblance to Gridlife races (used to catch those at COTA during Super Lap, so many cars going at once lol)

I think d class races are fun but mostly on smaller and narrower tracks like mid ohio and some VIR layouts. I think the game rn need some "track day" layouts for these cars

This is where the older gents like to hang out, quick enough they can still race, slow enough they can still race lol. It can be competitive under the right circumstances!

I'm gonna have to keep that in mind for if I ever get the game. I'm not good enough to win, but I'm good enough to generally stay clean. Got me a few friends in the forza motorsport 4 days.

c/d class are my jam, yes it's slow, but there's just something so nice and soothing about it .

Yeah, don't understand how they put GT cars on some of the shortest and tightest tracks but then stick d-class ones into wide berth longer tracks.

Good Race! I was in the A6GCS that 2nd race just getting to a full PI(CR points are hard to come by). Weird race, I don't know if you noticed, but you finished at the end of the 4th lap and dissapeared. The rest of the lobby finished the race. This game must play so different on KB. I need to do some testing with those super tight sway bars, but I feel like that's just going to be over-steer heaven. I can't tell if I like the way your car drives in game or not, it looks like a mix between Grand Turismo and a mobile game with no suspension travel.

well, let's be honest... we've seen how the high class racing can get crazy, chaotic and very crash happy, not to mention the rammers (there's always one at least) so, C and D may be slow, but they're pretty chill and fun, especially in short, tight and technical tracks

Despite how slow it is, D or C class still as entertaining as faster A Class! Not to mention the 1st race with the S13 are satisfying even for 2nd place. I wonder if the 2nd race are bugged? At 14:29 it's Lap 4/6 yet when it's cross the line, Race's already over like bruh??

In the second race, since ISAD was at the top, no need to show the same thing repeatedly, so the last laps were skipped.

Imo, the top 5 were decent enough but their cars weren't balanced...not a good match up for that track. It has some decent straights and both high speed and tight corners. It seemed like others had better straight line speed but couldn't keep their speed up in the turns, thus were slower overall.

Allows for good racing, but car variety/customization seems limited. RWD + full handling mods if u wanna keep up.

How did you find a D-class race that isn't full of mx5 miata's and the porsche? All of my races are people abusing the meta car. This class could be really fun if everyone used anything but the miata lol.
