I think it would be his second senior medal if he got it. He got his other one in Belgrade I'm pretty sure, that same day he fenced Avola in the semis

This is correct, would of been nice if he got it here, love Matsuyama of course but Iimura deserved a win that day, he was fencing sharp entire tournament

@@zakninja3706 At this point, he may be a favorite for a medal. Gold is a tough one though. But He is able to Beat Itkin and Marini consistently, so yes it’s very possible indeed.
