I watched this series recently, it was very well done. I was left with a few thoughts and impressions. They focus on a specific suspect throughout the series, which is compelling. The guy and his team of sleuths who compiled information on this suspect took years to acquire. The skeptics in the show never really convince me entirely, since many of them are making money off the the mystery. They have podcasts, conventions, merchandise etc. which made me think they really don't want anyone to solve it....LOL.....Most of the proof is circumstantial, but there is a lot of it.

He jumped off of a plane at night in the rain with zero visibility into the wilderness. Serial numbers of all the money he was given was recorded by the FBI, but never turned up again. He probably didn’t survive the jump…finding a body over such a massive search area is a total needle/haystack The producers of this doc not only made money off it, but also gave themselves starring roles. Be wary of any documentary filmmakers who try to make themselves subjects in the doc.
@patrickthomas8890

@Delana Taylor Online Exactly. Crack pot is a good description. These type of docs have zero credibility and zero integrity in my opinion. Just someone who becomes so married to an idea that they develop strict “tunnel vision” like you said. I’m with you on the Occam’s razor, except I take it one step further. I think it was just nothing more than a smart guy who exploited the very lax security of the airline industry at the time. Like many smart people though, he overestimated his ability. Knowing a lot about planes doesn’t mean you can also jump out of one…at a highly difficult level nonetheless. The fact that the ransom money’s serial numbers never turned up in circulation again make me believe he didn’t survive the jump. The shear size of the search area coupled with the environmental elements (including wildlife) of the area probably took care of any evidence within a few years. He could be at the bottom of a body of water too, but there’s no sense in continuing to spend time and money on a single case which only involved $200k

In this documentary, you have old news footage of some of the passengers leaving the plane, right at about minute 8:21 to 8:30 there is a man who looks very much like Cooper and another right behind who is similar in appearance as well. The documentary mentions the FBI did interviews on site but where is the list of passengers and has any other follow up been done on each one to make sure they were not involved in any way? I'd love to see some photos and names that match up with these two men in the footage. They are close enough in appearance that they should have at least been looked into.

I fully agree. My theory is the attendants were in on it, hid the money + parachutes in the bag, and walked out like innocent passengers. It is so strange to me how every passenger was "clueless" and "never saw DB Cooper". It doesn't make any sense. I believe he walked out of that plane in Seattle. At the time there was no publicly released sketch up of his face too, so the FBI wouldn't know if the person they were interviewing was him or not.

Lemmino already an excellent video of this case.
I’ve found this documentary to be a bit disappointing. After the second episode is not really about trying to figure it out who or where is D. B. Cooper, but rather about the cultural impact of the highjack. They really don’t analyse other suspects in depth, rather focus on one who had direct contact with one of the prime investigators. The fact that the production team decided to make a true-crime in a light way, takes some gravitas to the thing. True-crime is suppose to put you on the hedge of your sit. I didn’t feel this with this one. The D. B. Cooper documentary available on KZread, made by LEMMiNO, is so much more interesting. That’s my take on it. What could have been one of the most interesting stories for Netflix to investigate, is just a bunch of narcissistic nerds talking about how much they know about the case (with one or two exceptions).
