Ben from D'Addario sent me over some of their gear to test out and I really fell in love with their Jazz Select Mouthpiece as well as the Jazz Select Organic Reeds (no surprise there; I've been playing their regular Jazz Select reeds for years now). They project quite wonderfully and the mouthpiece in particular is the right blend between the benefits of hard rubber (darker, warmer, mellower) and metal (cutting, edge, projection). They work wonderfully for me and are my regular set up, so if you are interesting, they are definitely worth checking out.
