What a positive guy! Absolute joy in what he does. As a chef it makes me nervous he never looks at the food or the equipment he's working with. But obviously he doesn't need to.

I'd be curious to see Guga try making one of these food dishes after reacting to these videos. Maybe do that for every video reaction he does to add extra depth to these as a whole.

To the Guga team - THANK YOU for including B roll of some dishes that are not traditionally known to Americans. I had no idea what a Korean hot dog was, and the B roll sated that curiosity on the spot. This is high technical production right here…not present in other cooking channels here on KZread. 8:40 A big earthquake happened in Türkiye this year. The place he was feeding people in was that earthquake region, those were the people who become homeless, lost their friends, families and such. He is also from that region so he probably lost a lot of his friends and family as well.

Ketchup is basically salt & sugar. It's not that different (in flavour profile) than salted caramel popcorn.

CZN Burak is/was always smiling. But since the earthquake in Turkey and the war in Gaza he doesn't smile anymore. You can check his videos after October 7 and proof it. He has a big heart for peace and love.

Another great video! Uncle Guga you should try making a couple of those Turkish kebabs.

I have been to his restaurant in Istanbul. Great staff, great food and they'll put up a show for you when they serve the food. Great vibes for sure.

If you think you don't like eggplant you have to try Japanese eggplant glazed with miso. It's totally different than what you're used used to having.

I think it is not Ketchup but sambal/chili sauce, together with Garlic sauce (the white sauce). they use it in my local Turkish snack bar and it looks like ketchup form a distance

9:30 Döner is shwarma in Arabic-speaking countries which is arabic pronunciation of "Chewirme" which means rotating in Turkish. It is the basically the same thing. However, Arab brothers like it more spicy and saucy. We like it plain.

Yes my Arab friend at the gyro shop near me taught me similarly. Most of the dishes were Greek style and were thus not as hot, but they always had the option for those who were used to the Arabic and Turkic versions of the dish, to add his family recipe hot sauce on the side.

It's 4:00am here, I dared myself to watch it but boy I regret it so much. Especially first and last ones were mouthwatering.

I lived in Brazil for a year back in 2005. Not once did I ever see anyone eat Popcorn with Ketchup.. Now... I saw a WHOLE LOT of other things eaten with Ketchup, so you get a pass this time Guga! Tudo Bem!

I never knew CZN Burak but this vdo made me love him from not even knowing him! He seems like an entertaining charitable man! Also cooking fever is a game i played when I was a kid and I used to love playing it! (lol i dlted cuz i couldn't go to higher levels)

I read somewhere that the word „shawarma“ was originally a turkish word. The Word is „cevirme“ which means „spinning“ in turkish. I thougt it was quite interesting. Loved this Video btw ❤

Yes, because there is no CH sound in standard Arabic (though some dialects might have it). As such, the Turkish CH (written as a Ç) becomes SH in Arabic.

Turkish food is good, when I went to Istanbul for a month I really enjoyed the food. There is less seasoning in my opinion, but I think that’s the style.
