CZ Sharp-Tail Family of Side-by-Sides
Спорт
Our single-trigger side-by-side family, the Sharp-Tail gets a classic color case finish on its receiver and metalwork, while the barrels are clad in our hardy black chrome to resist the elements. Available in a wide number of chamberings and several sub-models (like the Sharp-Tail Coach and the Sharp-Tail Target), this versatile horizontal bore is a favorite for its rugged reliability and light handling.

THOSE S×S SHOT GUNS ARE GORGEOUS, I LOVE HOW THE FRONT STOCK ARE WRAP AROUND THE SIDE OF BOTH BARRELS.
I absolutely love my 16ga. Ringneck!!! Made on an appropriate sized frame and I can carry it all day!
Hopefully my local shop gets one of these versions in to hold. He had some of your SxS (Bobwhite ?) and some Drakes. I went with the Drake because I liked the way the foregrip felt compared to the SxS. But, this Sharp-tail version looks like it might be pretty comfortable with the way the wood wraps around the barrels. I hope I get a chance to check one out.
16 needed multichokes. My dad has the 16 ringneck and we both wish he had different chokes
I have a 12g Sharptail, love this gun!
Very Nice!
I have the 20ga. And love it. I want the 12ga Target 30in barrels
Sure wish you make a sporting 16 with choke tubes.
Are they superior steel proofed?
Is that 13 gage also good for Bird hunting
* But, no option for double triggers? Can't be much of a bird gun without double triggers, will be ok for shooting clay targets.
Beware, never use any adhesive on the stock. Removing the adhesive (tape) will actually lift the finish off. No idea what the finish is: appears to be a spray on.
Are you still offering the 16 ga?
Does the safety re-engage after breaking open?

It does not. The only CZ Shotgun that has an auto safety is the Swamp Magnum.

Good!
These guns need double triggers, straight stocks, splinter forearms, and ejectors. People will gladly pay more for it, especially in small gauges.

Pistol grip and mechanical single trigger are superior when shooting buckshot or slugs at a rampaging bear or lunatic. A great defensive gun in Coach Gun version

@@fanbatcher There are roughly 342,000 superior defensive weapons to a CZ SXS shotgun my dude.
Are these side-by-sides still made?

WOW, great gun and price point. Put better wood on it though.

Would be an awesome upgrade option... a hand-select highly figured stock. I'll say though, the turkish walnut on my CZs, while standard, is pretty nice. Just not fancy.

@@silvermediastudio I like your description of the wood. My 612 target is the same. Nice wood but nothing extra for sure.

Same to be said of my Drake and Bobwhites, nice, but not fancy, and def a step or three above my 870 Express truck gun!

Hand engraved ?

Jack, yes the ornamental engraving is all done by hand. The model name and import marks are laser engraved.
This HUĞLU?
Too bad it lacks double triggers and an English grip, you know the traditional setup

@@czusafirearms I actually own two Bob White G2's 12 and 20, and they are what I am looking for mechanically, but cosmetically, they are pedestrian compared to the Sharp Tail.

Then you'll be pleasantly surprised with the new Project Upland version that will be debuting soon. We did a Crowd-Sourced Shotgun project with them that will be getting revealed in the next few months!

Pistol grip is so much better when shooting heavy loads.
These made in Turkey?

@@czusafirearms thank you
IF you made that in an 18.5 in barrel 12 and 20 ga. I bet you would outsell the 20'' 3 to 1 Fact, I would be the 1st on that list for a 20 ga. I have zero interest in a 20'' barrel
@jasonburrell3508

Why do you prefer the shorter barrels?
@acatnamedscoop7718
3 жыл бұрын
@@jasonburrell3508 because they look better and with todays loads you dont need longer barrels anymore + in home defence a longer barrel is not a good thing id like a 16'' but thats not legal for some dumb reason no one can explain.

Slugs perform best out of at least a 20” barrel
Wonderful set up for a side-by-side... except for the selective single trigger! :((( Classic gun has to be classic setup in every detail IMHO.
The Bobwhite is mechanically simpler and probably more reliable. Single trigger Turkish guns do not have a good reputation....
No ejectors 🤦♂️
Sideplates and a single trigger is sinful.
