CZ P 10 C 9mm pistol, likes and dislikes

We share some thoughts on the CZ P10 C. Please help support our mission: gofund.me/6fb3....
This compact polymer frame is high quality pistol is an amazing value. Affordably priced, it has great ergonomics, sights and trigger! With a 15+1 capacity, it's a good option for home defense or EDC.
We found the stippling a bit to aggressive for our tastes but some folks may like it. The low bore axis is a winner and grip angle makes very shootable.
Please share your thoughts and comments, we want to hear from you, Thanks for checking out the video, we hope you'll subscribe!

I've owned or shot all of the popular striker-fired handguns and the P10c is by far my favorite. In the first year of owning it I put over 10k rounds through it and only had 4 malfunctions using cheap underpowered steel cased ammo. None of the many Glocks I'ved owned were anywhere close to reliable as my CZ handguns. I'm so impressed with CZ that I bought a Dan Wesson 1911 Vigil and it's as reliable as my P10c.

The P-10 is the best shooting production striker fired pistol in my opinion and I own most of the competition because I have the same addiction as Mr Z but I don’t sell or trade guns. I have done trigger jobs on all 3 of my P10’s (F, F-.45, C) I also sanded down the front strap on them because the front strap stippling was aggressive to the point of being painful to shoot. A few minutes of sanding in the right and it was good to go.

You always do top notch quality in depth reviews. I enjoy hearing the pros and cons of any tool, because nothing is perfect. For me the only "somewhat" con of the czp10c is that it's more along the lines of the size of a glock19x or glock45. That's not a bad thing by any means but for guys like us who conceal carry regularly, those extra ounces add up and are very noticeable. Now, that being said..... concealed carry is supposed to be comforting, not comfortable. Also, you can get factory cz magazines that hold 17 rounds flush fit in the p10c and the p10c will accept the 19 round magazines from the full size czp10F. Keep up the great work!

I own the P10c and P10f. Two problems surfaced: 9mm 115-grain WWB and Fiocchi JHPs catch the lans inside the barrel, causing live rounds to get stuck in the chamber.. also, the trigger safeties on both guns would lock up the trigger on occasion in addition to some added 'squish' as described in the video. A bit of filing of the plastic, just a light touch, fixed the latter problem. I might ream the barrels a bit to fix the live round issue, but Winchester Silvertip JHPs cycle just fine. I like these guns enough to keep them, but do be aware that all guns have their issues. Test your firearms with the ammo you will actually carry.. with hundreds of rounds.

Sir, thank you for watching and sharing your insights. I tried several different brands of jacketed, hollowpoint, ammunition, and never had any problem. I have heard that different firearms can be finicky with the bullet shape for a specific type of ammunition or manufacturer. As you pointed out, it is essential to test, whatever ammunition you plan to carry and shoot it enough that you know the reliability of that ammunition in your firearm. The P10 series (except the P10M), are awesome pistols. I was in the position deciding between the P10C and the P10S last year and ended up with the P10S as it was just too good of a deal to pass during our country's nation wide gun sale every year in April and as I only have one pistol, the S made sense as it flexes into many roles for me. All 7 of my mags I run have OEM plus 2 extensions. The P10 series has great ergonomics that's allow me to have a high purchase resulting in a very flat shooting pistol. I will say that the P10 series of pistols are on the heavier side of the polymer pistols compared to Glocks, but that's just nit picking a bit. Great video.

It was also just as accurate with the factory sights as my P80 is with a green dot- two or three magazines could all be covered by the palm of your hand from 10-12 yards. So far i love it but it won't fit any of the holsters i currently have so I'm waiting for a new one to arrive before i hit the range some more and start carrying it.

I bought a P10C earlier this year to replace my P07 as my edc and as much as I love to shoot the gun, I couldn't replace the P07 because I simply can't trust the P10C. 847 rounds and the gun has had 2 failures to extract and 7 failures to go into battery when chambering a round. Sad, because besides problems with reliability, the gun is fantastic. The ergonomics, controls, trigger and recoil impulse are superb.

Thanks for your feedback. Most stoppages are caused by one of the following… Poor quality ammo, under a lubricated handgun, or a faulty magazine. I put 500 rounds through five different magazines with this pistol … had no issues with the exception of my own reloads, which are always suspect. If you’re getting stoppages with high-quality defense ammo, then you definitely have a problem. And like you, I wouldn’t bet my life on a gun that didn’t function with quality defense of ammunition. At the same time I think it’s important to check out some of the causes of malfunctions noted above. Most of the people I know who on this particular pistol find it extremely reliable. It’s just as reliable as most of the other quality polymer frame handguns that are out there. Thanks for watching coming. I wish you all the best.

@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC I believe the feed ramp is causing most of my failure to chamber issues. The rounds tend get hung up on it. That being said, it's only happened while loading the gun, never while firing it. The failures to extract are probably a combination of a dirty chamber and what I'm guessing is a faulty extractor. Either way, it's pretty disappointing, my P07 and Shadow 2 haven't had any problems, so I was shocked to have issues out of the P10C. Anyway, I enjoyed your review and look forward to future content 👍

If the gun doesn't come with three magazines, yet you think it should, you cannot argue that a magazine is an integral part of the gun. It's a replacement part that adds functionality to the gun. But you can still single-load it just fine, even faster than your forefathers did. Do some guns have magazines that are integral parts of the gun? Yes, but those are fixed magazines like on a Mosin-Nagant rifle or a pump-action shotgun.

Thank you for watching and commenting. Your logic is very similar to that being propagated by the progressive anti-gun crowd. Basically they think magazines should be restricted or even taken away so they can turn a semi automatic into a single shot. They fundamentally, do not understand that the term “arms“ refers to the tool, as well as the parts of the firearm that allow it to function properly. Following this path of logic, one could say that ammunition is not a part of the firearm, and therefore only people like the government should have a right to have the ammunition. I don’t think that position is coherent or relevant in the context of the right to keep in their arms. I believe my comment regarding magazines had to do with the fact that I think from a consumers standpoint, a minimum of three magazine would be ideal. Many companies only provide one or two magazines. That’s a business decision. However, in my humble opinion, selling a firearm with a minimum of three magazines, especially for handgun is appreciated by consumers. If you’re advocating for the anti-Gun folks, then I certainly hear your position, although I fundamentally disagree with the argument. Thanks again for watching and comment. Stay safe.

@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC As I said, a magazine cannot both be an integral part of a gun and having three is somehow inherently superior to the operation of a gun than one. Personally, one mag is fine to keep costs down. Buy as many mags as you need on top. Three seems to be a number from action shooting. Plenty of self-defence holsters don't even come with space for two spares, just the one. We've strayed so far from the original intent of the 2A that it is quite farcical. During British rule, it was expected for every man to have a musket and powder and lead for the same in order to function as a militia in times of need. Lacking any police force, the militia was needed to maintain order. This was even *before* the revolution, mind. The function of the 2A was for supervised militia use, organized and maintained. This was a sound reading all the way up until the 1970s when the NRA had a leadership change and began advocating for something completely alien. The modern gun-rights talk is utterly anti-thetical to what it has been in US history, and the backlash it has created was inevitable. The NRA had a good thing going, and now has fomented needless bad blood between Americans for no other reason than its own corruption. Common sense needs to return. There was nothing wrong with the way the 2A was understood for well over a century.

@@whitescar2 sir, you and I have a very different interpretation of what the second amendment stands for. And, I completely reject the argument that the second amendment only applied to the term well regulated militia. If you have read the federalist papers or any of the writings of founding fathers, you would know they had an inherent mistrust of government in all forms. Not only of the British government, but also what could happen if a government was determined to subvert people and try to strip freedoms away. I am no fan of the NRA. But support or not supporting the NRA is not the same thing as believing in the individuals right to keep and bear arms and allow them to defend themselves. until approximately 30 years ago, there were no major problems with mass shootings. I think you and I can respectfully agree to disagree. I respect that you want to limit constitutional rights to fit whatever narrative you believe is the best for society. However I trust the individual over the institutions that seek to control people…and I am highly skeptical of institutions of power, and refuse to be coerced to behave a certain way, so that others “feel good“. in my opinion, we don’t need more laws. We need to enforce the laws on the books and not plea-bargain them down when people break them. Finally, amendments are related to “individual rights”. Yet you are somehow prepared to take a collective view of the second amendment while likely supporting the other amendments which guarantee individual freedoms and protection from the government. That is your right to do and you and I can disagree about what we can do about it. In closing, I appreciate you taking the time to share your perspectives and your insights. We have differing views, and I will continue to respect your right to believe what you believe and behave according to your own personal morals. I will do the same. I am hopeful that you and I can respect each other and Encourage others to have discussions and even arguments without dropping to the level of insult. I appreciate the fact you have not done that. Thanks again for sharing, stay safe.

@@GunsGearOnTargetTrainingLLC I would assume that the people living closer to the Founding would have known thigns better than we do now, with our layers upon layers of interpretation and political games and grift. The only reason there is this conversation and dichotomy is because the question was politicized in the 1970s. All manner of background talk takes place, but the fact of the matter remains that the militia is the only thing mentioned in the final rendition. That is the only thing which the Founders decided was worth mentioning. Not tyranny, not individual rights, not the safety of the People or Law. No, the only things which were of such importance to the Founders they chose to sacrifice ink on was the security of the State, ensured by a well-regulated Militia. We can of course disagree on this, and we clearly do, but if the Founders were as smart and clever and foresighted as you proclaim, why in the world would they not mention this quintessential liberty and the defence of it? Why, instead, would they write down the defence of the State, the organized government, the "tyranny" as the reason and justification for the right to bear arms? It makes no sense. No form of government makes provisions to allow for its own dissolution by outside forces. That is antithetical to a government of any nature. The Founders were smart people. They understood what the monopoly on violence meant. And the Militia, well-regulated under State control, was that monopoly over violence. At the time, there was no Police. No standing army. The violence with which the Founders sought to control these United States was the Militia, and they needed that violence to be available to the State at any time to preserve its existence.

Where did you buy the steel guide rod...from CZ? I assume you can get one for the P10-S (which i purchased recently)? You say elsewhere, i believe, that clearance sales on the P10 shiws lijeky new model on the wsy. Any more info on that? What about holsters and lights and sights (tritium front, at least) for C and S...your thoughts? Thx.

Thee guide rod was from hbindustries.net/store/shop/cz-p10-steel-guide-rod-assembly/ The CZ P10C fits my Glock 17 holsters but there are plenty of options for CZ holsters, lights, and sights I like Trijicon XD HR (www.trijicon.com/products/details/cz603-c-601081)...but there are lots of options so just check the web. As far as prices do a web search for this pistol as there are several great deals out there. Note: You will have to pay for shipping to your FFL as well and the standard CBC from your local FFL. Still depending on the last two items you're likely looking at a good deal on that. I have no info on the the design but given the discount, I am assuming CZ has something coming out.

Just purchased the p10c. I basically like everything about it. The grip texture is really how I like it. When I grip a pistol I want it locked in solid.the three dot sights work fine for my eyes. The trigger is miles superior to the stock Glock trigger and is smoother with a crisp break. I have carried a Glock for a good while, but I am in the process of testing different defense loads and once I finish the break in and testing phase. I will switch over to it as my carry gun.

Every company is just trying to make a ‘Glock.’ This is why I just buy Glocks ….. they’re reliable, reliable, and also very reliable. I have several Glocks, Its not just "like a Glock", its better. Better sights, better trigger, better ergonomics out of the box. Every Glock I own I have had to "upgrade" parts (trigger, sights), Dremel off material on the frame not to get Glock finger, etc. Plus I have limited funds for ammo and training. I can shoot the P10 c 10 times better than the Glocks I have been shooting for years. I did a complete steel match with the P10c and I would never try that with my G19. Also you can pick one up for $300 which is about $250 less than a Gen 5. This has been out since 2017, few changes made in 2018 to make it a Gen 2 and there are no issues with reliability. Just like smith and Wesson M&Ps, Springfields, Hks, Walther PDP, etc.

@@tacdad Sir, you make excellent points. Especially the fact that you don’t have to replace factory sites or improve the trigger with parts. Right out of the box the CZ P 10 is really fantastic.

Own several CZs from rifles to pistols, but will never buy CZ again. Bought a CZ P10M DEC 2023, and needed a magazine screw replaced. CZ-USA claims they only had one screw in the entire factory, but said it was stripped. They also doubled down and said they don't have screws anymore since P10M since discontinued, Roger that, but they are still being sold and they only have 1 screw in the factory and it was stripped? Don't buy CZ, you'll get screwed,. (pun intended)

Awesome guns...we love ours..in all models EXCEPT the P10M its trigger is not good at all, but the P10F, P10c, and P10s are great options. My OPINION I rather have one over any Glock...except the gen 5 models are nice. They have been on sale for the last several months much cheaper than Glock, SIG, S&W as well.

There’s quite a bit of bad stuff happening in Oregon. Particularly when it comes to first and second amendment writes. The idea of allowing people to think for themselves and act for themselves in a responsible manner has been left behind, and the radical left is trying to control everything. Fortunately the Harney Court judge ruled that 114 was unconstitutional in the state of Oregon. We will see where that goes but for now we’ve had one small win. The state itself is beautiful and most of the people are as well. Unfortunately the radical left wants to change all of that. Thank you for watching. I hope you will subscribe.
