Sk standard plus..... Dang that's good shooting ammo... Hope mine shoots that well When I find that ammo.

You shoot really well and your rifle shoots exceptionally well too. SK+ is something that has shot well for me in 2 of my Anschutz bench rifles and like all rimfire ammunition varies with batch to batch just this price bracket a little more so. ARE YOU ALLOWED A BARREL TUNER IN THAT COMP CLASS? Your format and no Hollywood approach is a credit to you and I love your content.

Thanks and that we do maybe come up to your range and shoot sometime I got a match this weekend then going to practice some for a Indoor ARA Match on the 23rd of this month you should try and shoot in its in fresno ohio about hour 20 min from me.

Good shooting there. I use SK yellow box as we call it in English through my Lithgow 101, it’s very accurate and good value for money. Love the channel good stuff 🇬🇧

My 101 is a great little shooter, apart from the crappy, non-adjustable, heavy trigger ☹️ any tips welcome! Thinking of the Tikka T1x or the CZ457 as a replacement. Regards from deepest Dorset.

Well if it was me I recently got a savage mark ii tr and has hands down our performed my cz457. I took the savage mark ii tr to a shoot last weekend and shot 6 target and the highest score you can get per target is 2,500 and to say the least my first 3 targets where 2,500s and then my 4th and 5th target was 2,450 only missing 1 bulleyes per target and my last target was another 2,500 and max points you could of got was 15,000 and I shoot 14,900 and won the event by 800 points. I’m selling my cz457 mtr to buy 2 more of them savages since there retail pricing is 450.00 US dollars compaired to my MTR 457 at 830 take the rest of the money and buy better glass. I do recommend if you buy any mark ii with a would stock buy from dip products a mag well plate because the factory plate is thin as hell and will warp so dips is like 1/8 and won’t warp.

@@304rimfire5 Thanks for the info! Puts me in a bit of a dilemma. It looks like the Savage is easily available here in the U.K. the problem comes if, for whatever reason, I don’t like it or want to change it the paper trail here in the U.K. is onerous and long winded to say the least. Think I need to do a bit more research to make sure I’m at least 99.9% sure my rifle of choice is the right one😂👍 Great videos and thanks so much for taking the time to upload, much appreciated. 🇬🇧🇺🇸

Not a problem I like the fact the in the US there is a trigger available for the savage unlike the cz and I know Apache makes a spring kit that might be available to you. I like the mark TR I selling my cz to buy another TR.

I do like the new format. Lets me watch on break

It’s amazing how the groups tighten up as the barrel gets warm. Standard + shoots well out of my Varmint but the SK Rifle Match does much better. Also, the temperature of the ammo has an effect. Some people keep their ammo in a warm box when cold weather shooting.

Sk standard plus. I like the speed up I was scrubbing the videos. It might be a good idea to get a set of measuring calipers or the Sinclair attachments for standard and show them with the groups as measured.

What I'm going to do is use the Ballistic X app and let it measure it out and post the pic. I have calipers to check it my self like I did at the range.

@@304rimfire5 not crazy about app measured groups never seen one that measured correct. Also some people do crazy measuring methods like start at on the outside of a bullet and measurer to the inside of the bullet hole. Honestly the only way to measure groups is with a set of calibers set up for measuring bullet groups.

@@304rimfire5 , I use that app and I’ve found it much easier to use than calipers.

Sk and labuan made in same factory, rifle match and flat nose excellent for target, I use std for small game

Sk standard plus good luck at the match

SK Standard Plus And SK Magazine are the best bang for my buck, also out of a CZ MTR I've got a case of Standard on the way

@@304rimfire5 most of the time Champions Choice, I picked up a case of SK Long Range Match from them last month. but I placed a back order for SK standard through Creedmoor my first order from them. I used to order quite a bit from Target Sports but they're prices have really jumped. The other one is Grafts. Most of them don't have anything in stock except the high in stuff so I just get on there list. Lol If I was looking for Eley I'd be watching Killough, from what I've heard they are the US distributor.

SK STANDARD PLUS The new editing is great, 1 slow group and the rest fast.

Like the time lapse 👍🏻that SK Std Plus shoots okay in your CZ 457 MRR. How about some 100yd comparisons between your CZ & your Ans. MPR64 ? ie(shooting your Ans. MPR64 at 100yds. vs the CZ 👍🏻👍🏻 that MPR64 is a lights out keeper 😂

When you find a good lot it sure will.

Excellent video. One question though, two of the mantras you often hear from benchrest/group shooters is the importance of a smooth trigger press and smooth follow through. To my eyes, it seems that you press and release the trigger quickly, have you not noticed a difference in your group sizes when you follow through? Cheers!

Yes I’m use to shooting my Anschutz with a 6oz trigger pull it’s so easy to be able to do that so I get use to that weight pull and now shooting the cz with a boat anchor trigger weight I have to fallow threw when shooting it. I only notice it when I’m shooting my CZ.

Quickly burning through your videos, but haven’t found your thoughts yet on how this MTR is as compared to Anschutz 64. Is the MTR as accurate the model 64 anschutz? Have you tried any other model Anschutz?

Mtr vs anschutz. Anschutz hand down bets the MTR but also a 500 difference in price I think put a barrel on the MTR and would be right there with it accurate wise. No I haven’t tried another Annie these are what I have to use as of right now working on getting more rifles to do reviews on.

What Im going to start doing is shooting 25 off camera to season the barrel then shoot the other 25 for the groupings but your right. Those that I shoot where all measure out by weight too.

Dude adjusting the height with the rear foot in plain goofy. Set your rest and lock it down. Vertical and horizontal!

Is the match open? Do they shoot sporters there?

Local match really don't have a class just what you bring. I will say that most guys shoot CZs with Lija Barrels but then alot of the guys shoot stock savage and stock tikkas. There is no custom actions or custom rifles that will be shooting there its pretty fair. What would you bring to shoot.

What is the tri pod height adjustment you are using on you Caldwell Rock rest?

Are you talking about on the rear leg if so that is made by Sinclair Shooting it’s an adjustable rear leg it threads in to the factory hole and it has 1 inch of adjustment it’s easier to use then the wheel or I should say it’s quicker.
