A short video showing Cyprus, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria from space at night.
This clip was taken by the ISS and edited by UrbanTV cyprus. The footage is from 2012 and really demonstrates the level and beauty of light pollution at night! This was taken during the summer with very little cloud cover. This clip would definitely get me booking tickets back home!This is truly spectacular for giving us in Cyprus a better perspective on our impact on Earth.

    For those that are curious, the light flashes are lightning as seen from far above.

    i believe you are right and i disagree with the other's explanation. It could be ,but that lights are clearly not explosions in Syria ,cause there are not only in Syria,as it is obvious!
