Hiya, really can’t wait for your Cyprus blogs we were there last November only for 10 days though we had a lovely time bit overwhelmed by how hot it was when we first got there. You can walk for miles either way on the coastal path, beautiful. We are Canary lovers but I’ve got to say Cyprus we really enjoyed. We went into the troodos Mountains on a trip we booked from the center of Protaras that was a lovely trip. Can’t wait to see your accommodation and where it is the price is unbelievable, we budget for everything and why not, we get more holidays that way. X

Hi Mark and Judy your caravan is doing really well for it age for the microwave just measure it up and get one from a supermarket about 40.00p should do and as for your mould you say you get when it's in storage that's down to lack of air flow inside the caravan so make sure all the vents are clear and it will stop great vids on the canaries and look forward to later in the year when you off again

Unfortunately the microwave is a very small one but we will keep an eye out but tbh we can manage without …the air fryer is our main thing be lost without it thanks for watching and more vlogs coming of how we’re doing saving up and costs for 3 months in the canaries .. will we save enough? 😁

Yes especially in Tenerife thankfully we booked a year in advance but the equivalent apartment that we have for 7 weeks in Costa Adeje this coming winter is a £1000 more 😳

It’s a worry all these rising costs we worry for our 5 girls but they seem to be coping.. I’m sure we’d be struggling too if we’d carried on with our lives in Bristol. Yes looking forward to Cyprus be a new adventure x

Thanks Barbara.. no we don’t let our cottage out as we go home each week it’s our bolt hole particularly in the summer and escape from the noisy campers 😃 we’re still doing lots of work so try get some done through the year it’s the garden this year so a real challenge just waiting for some dry weather!! hi,watched quite a few times and know you love tenerife,please do be aware that Protaras closes for the winter,there will be a few places open but not many.Pafos road/street work will be on going (slow process),they keep finding antiquities,such an old place but very lively.Many thanks.

Sadly she’s too old now to tow to Spain 🇪🇸 and we like a complete break these days .. also cost has risen so much to tow and stay abroad for the winter . Few years ago we did a price comparison to tow abroad or fly to Canaries in apartment it was £1500 cheaper to go to Canaries x

I have but just remember bits of it and it was really hot and humid be great to go somewhere else as unfortunately we are limited to sun destinations in the 6 months we are off short haul x

Its very quiet around the Protaras area,nearby Aya Nappa is a bit more lively. We always flew into Paphos, hired a car and drove around for two weeks . Car hire is/was very cheap and they drive on the correct side of the road (mostly).

With respect, those VLOGs that the McMaster did were awful. Paphos is superb and so many interesting places to visit in and around the area. Wonderful restaurants too. Anyway I’m off the PDC tomorrow 😊

Look and see if George has done a video of your apartments uou will see has a list that he has covered if not if you message him he'll do one for you. There's a Lydl along top road that turns down into Protaras. Oh! Protaras is a one way system not sure whether your Ayia Napa side or Pernera side if your Ayia Napa side you need to drive on and turn down at traffic lights at the Spinz bar but you'll see it all on George's video's. Hoping to get back this year myself but waiting to see if I need some hospital treatment before I book. Enjoy can't wait to see your video's x

Just looked on easyJet site for the flight out then Wizz air back to Gatwick .. just found accommodation and then searched all other platforms for best price.. booking.com for studio £730 found one bed apartment same accommodation on agoda £447 x

You do know Protaras closes end October maybe 1stcweek November. Greenery pub stays open all year but take a look st Cyprus Insight George does video's all year round. Do you coukd look at strip video's from last year he generally does one where he asks when bars and restaurants are closing. I would suggest hiring a they drive same side road as us try Windmill car rentals will get places open like Nicks bottle shop your hubby will want to there for his Keo beer and there should he plays open Paralimni. But go follow George his video's will give you loads of info. Enjoy my favourite place Lanzarote 2nd x

Yes we don’t mind if there’s not much open we’re not expecting there to be many as long as there’s a few eateries around. Yes he’s sussed out the bottle shop already!! We will hire a car as want to go the ghost town .. lots of walking planned can’t wait x

Are you going with a view that it may be your ideal winter stay? Perfect for me personally as not as hot and I don't like crowds. But I'm still happy in North Wales.all good.

I hope you have done your reasearch properly because as far as I know protaras shuts down at the end of october and there are only 2 bars that stay open over the winter and everywhere else is shut

Yes caravans hold their value well but we’re not selling her she’s doing fine only have to get another if she wears out but otherwise she’ll hopefully see us through till we give up this lifestyle one day x
