Dear Mr. Antoniou thank you very much for taking time and cooking all these delicious dishes. I’m persian but I grew up in Cyprus (from the age of 5 until 20) and now I live in Germany. I miss the delicious cypriot cuisine but thanks to you I cook often greek cypriot dishes for my family, boyfriend and friends. You explain in the best way possible the way to achieve the top taste of those dishes, and to be honest, when I cool them at home they taste exactly like what I used to eat in Cyprus. This is one of my favorite dishes.. I always remember having them at a small Cypriot taverna many years ago, when I was a student in Thessaloniki.. @@stavrosantoniou2080 This is a Turkish Cypriot dish invented by Chef Ali in Nicosia. He named it Chef Ali kebab when his customers loved it and ask him what it was called. Over the years people started to called this Şeftali kebab as it kind of sounded like Chef Ali. Şeftali means Peach 🍑 in Turkish. So this name stuck with this dish ever since. Αγαπητή μου Αθηνά. Τόσο με συγκινούν τα όμορφα σου λόγια! Βρισκόμαστε εδώ και τόσα χρόνια, ως μετανάστες. Αλλά οι πατρίδα διαμένει παντοτε ζωντανή μέσα στις καρδιές μας. Οι χαρά μας είναι που έχουμε την ευκαιρία να πηγαινουμε διακοπές. Σε ευχαριστώ για όλα, όσο και τις ευχές σου.
