Agree with so many of the comments on here.Cindy gets more beautiful the older she gets.She actually looks more feminine now than she did in the 80s.I actually saw her perform in Birmingham in 1986 at a martial arts event, with the likes of Bill Wallace,Danny Inosanto,Eric Lee and Cindys boyfriend at the time George Cheung.Her kicking was fast...believe me.A beautiful woman😊

My fav movies with her were the Chyna Obrien movies. She should be in the next Expendables movie.

Oh I agree but Hollywood is a crap hole they barely recognize talent and I believe Cynthia intimidates them cause she’s awesome

I remember her, when I was a kid I watch so many Hong Kong action movie, she was one of the very impressive martial art actress

I learned a lot more about this incredible beautiful Martial Artist through this interview. Doing movies in Hong Kong had to b tough. I've always respected her from the very beginning of her career. She can really move! NOT a lady to trifle with.

The only American-born blonde Queen of HK martial arts films of the mid-80s to establish a cult-status following in Hong Kong from the mid-80s to the early 90s. Her first name 'Cynthia' would later be adopted by many HK actresses most notably Yeung Lai-Ching (Cynthia Khan) and Yukari Oshima (Cynthia Luster).

Hollywood never wanted her anyways. But Asians consider her as a legend..

I have always been a massive fan of her, but why didn't they cast her in Expendables? Outrageous! "Oi Stallon, are you listening?"

Why am I just now hearing about this woman? Now I have to watch all her movies. No CGI, awesome.

She's still hot even at her age. One of my first childhood martial arts celebs.

Cynthia Rothrock was the original female action star. How many of us loved to see her movies when they came on cable TV! Of course she was the inspiration for Sonya Blade!

Was a Hugh Fan 30 year ago and rediscovered her now again, amazing actress and martial artist 👨‍🎨 did not see lot of movies but all still available at KZread and other channels

Cynthia rothrock, Kara Hui, Michelle Yeah are a few female action actress still active. The trio should team up again to make a film. Maybe can bring Joyce Godenzi (Sammo Hung's wife) back with them too. The american had expendables to bring back male action stars. Sammo Hung directed the bodyguard to bring back the 7 fortunes and his friends together. Eric Tsang and Hung YanYan produced 7 Assassins to bring back all the pioneering shaw brothers action stars like Ti Lung, Bryan Leung, Chen Kuan Tai and etc. Its time a film should pay tribute to these female action stars.

I love Cynthia Rothrock movies. I miss them.

I used to think I would purposely pick a fight with her just so she can wrap her legs round my neck......thats if one punch didnt knock my head off first.

Cynthia Rothrock was an amazing martial artist no question about that. I just wonder how she felt returning to the States after working in HK. Since most of the Hollywood action choreographing were pretty blend in comparison.

This interview is amazing. I loved her as a kid! One of my favorites.

How is she not one of the most famous film stars? Along with Michelle Yeoh the best female film action star ever. She would make a great Bond henchwoman, seems fitting as Michelle has been a Bond girl.

I absolutely love Cynthia Rothrock!!! I just finished watching 'Righting Wrongs' (aka 'Above the Law'). She is absolutely amazing in that movie. Her best film above 'China O'Brien', which is another favorite of mine. Her US films only scratches the surface of what she can do. Her films in Hong Kong bring out the core of her potential. :) That would be great if she can do one more HK film. For the full effect, it should be a Jackie Chan directed film. Him, Stanley Tong, or Sammo Hung.
