Sadly, speakers who tell their valid stories at the Senate, I think: "If they have been appointed to Senate, shouldn't their pre-requisites be to educate themselves on their appointed opportunities?" I shake my head sadly because the answer is a resounding NO. Much respect to Cyndi to try to convince a group of people who should have checked the box about this on their job description.

Spinny78 Not certain I understand your point here.?? Cyndi's appeal to the senate is the process that all American's have a right to, and she is merely exercising that right, hoping that she will be truly heard by even one senator who might be able to make a difference their appointed state. Change can be slow, but to not try would actually be sad.

dancewomyn1 My point is that it is unfortunate that anyone has to appeal to the Senate about genuine opportunities in our country. The Senate should be educated enough to already know the plight Americans face on a regular basis. A slam on our elected leaders. Cyndi is AWESOME.
