Andreea just gets better and better as time goes by with her heavenly beautiful singing voice and I can truthfully say that Candi Lauper would be giving her high praise with this top class tribute to the legendary Candi Lauper all I can say is that a record company should give Andreea a contract and the other great musicians who sing and play there hearts out in great style can't praise any of them enough they literally kick butt ❤❤❤

@andrewthompson2831 Any record company that would want to take on Andreea would have a formidable opponent. Andreea has a law degree so they would have a hard time taking advantage of her like they do with all the other creators.

It was written for Roy Orbison, and he recorded it in 1987, but his version wasn't released until 1992, after his death. Meanwhile, Cyndi Lauper's version was released in 1989. So hers was released to the public first, which I think is generally what "first" means in that context in the music industry, but I won't fault someone for attributing it to either of them.

A little bit of music trivia... Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly wrote "I Drove All Night." The song was originally intended for Roy Orbison, who eventually did record his own version. Cyndi Lauper nails it IMHO. She has an amazing voice.
