Please visit: cymbaldr.com for more information!
Cymbal Doctor™ is a revolutionary new system that uses a simple three step process
to restore your Cymbals and Gongs back to their original luster and sound quality in minutes!
Whether your Cymbals are coated with hard lacquer (Paiste) or a soft lacquer (Sabian, Zildjian) or uncoated with heavy oxidation it does not matter. Cymbal Doctor's proprietary system is scientifically proven and tested in sound studios.
Born out of his passion for restoration and design of vintage automobiles, Larry Jaworske, former CEO of Baldwin Motion, recipient of the coveted GM Design Award and SEMA Best of Show, has turned his focus to developing a revolutionary line of restoration products for cymbals and gongs. "As an avid drummer over a span of 45 years, I have tried every known Cymbal polisher product out there to achieve a high luster finish with no success.
My quest for achieving the most spectacular finish, lead me to join forces with Sam Lankford, an expert in metallurgical science, aviation and marine polishes for extreme applications. Together we developed a safe, fast and incredible method for achieving a mirror like finish for the treatment of B8, B20 cymbals and gongs and much more."
"Best system for cymbal restoration that I have seen in 35 years in the business."

How to remove the logos on your cymbals in just 3 easy steps!
Did anybody else notice they had the logo saver over the B8 logo then after polishing the logo was gone? I find it hard to trust a company that can't use their own product.
The "logo saver" ripped off the logo ahaha how silly
the second step erased the "B8" lol
I understand that some people want a mirror finish, but I would rather have a more natural finish and keep my logos. I use Groove Juice and the logos have stayed in tact on my Zildjian K and A customs, and Sabian HHX and AAX models. Admittedly, Groove Juice doesn't work on heavily oxidized or very dirty cymbals, but it works great for removing finger prints and light soil. To each his own!
B8's aren't a brilliant finish cymbal. You're changing the sound of the cymbal here. No thanks!
coulda had a B8
hmm this could hide my ZBT and B8 Shame, im interested
yeah, everybody wants an ugly rectangle around his logo ...
At least now the logo is gone and nobody can tell it's a cheap crap cymbal.
Geez! That's great! I wonder if it'll take the Gibson logo off my ' 59 Les Paul.
I use TURTLE WAX Bug & Tar REMOVER to clean all my cymbals and I'm so happy with the result..
The dirt keep the funk.
Friggin' amazing!! I'd like to see the product in use firsthand. Maybe he can partner up with the cymbal companies on a logo restoration kit..ijs. If I had it i'd just mark what the cymbal is on the underside of the bell for id purposes. But, im thoroughly impressed.
Incredible
i love the finish after the cleaning process is complete! is there a specific site i can order the cleaners and polish from?
Larry----you rock-n-roller !!
Fuck it, my cymbals are filthy, and they sound and look just fine.
The guy @ 4:21 looks like Kip Kay
Someone should point out (me) that this method is not just cleaning thfe cymbal, but modifying it as well. Sabian B8 cymbals, at least the one used in this demo, do not come with a brilliant, or polished finish. You are changing the sound characteristics of the cymbal, not just cleaning it. Not that this is a bad thing, but even so, there is a possibility that you could void a manufacturer's warrenty, as they may claim that it was polished by unknown methods and produced unkown heat buildiup
They took it off during the cleaning. I've done this using the logo saver and it looks stupid after. You might as well clean the whole cymbal and lose the logo instead of letting that part of the cymbal wear away. This stuff works.
"Should have NEVER had a B8!"
@skinnymonk Hense the "more sound" comment at the end. Yep, but if you enjoyed how your cymbal sounded beforehand bye bye. Guys, please don't do this to your cymbal, ever!
I got the same finish with metal cleaner (Any general metal cleaner will work, but it'll take off the logos) and Meguiars car wax.
It looks good but even if you do protect the logo you can see when he peels of the protector it takes away the logo's paint anyways...
@Plangentry youre right man, i was like.. wait somethings missing here.. the eff.!! ... wheres the B8 logo?..
How long does the sealant last?
@Drumpro691 Cool! Happy for you. If you can, Do a video before and after (step by step) and up load it. (if you want) I'd much rather see a demo of this product by an actual customer rather than a company. Thanks
So true.
I wonder if you can pay to get a label put back on a cymbal?
@cymbaldr Where can I purchase them?
Where do you get this kit?
Idk, it makes me feel like it's made hundred years ago by ultimate proffessional and cymbal is like ultimate rare. Some people even say that this dust makes cymbal sound better, it was said on somekind website i don't remember which one, something called ''tips for drummers'' idk if it's true.
I love when cymbals look dirty and old. :)))
donde lo puedo conseguir?
what happened to the B8 logo
I don't think cymbals are supposed to look like jewelry... xD
@cymbaldr yeah, but with the logo protector. the logo will remain filthy.
where can i find this stuff?
where's the logoo.... -.-
How is it to just put the cymbal in the dish washer?
what's the cleaner?
you took the LOGO OFF!!!!!! WAAAAAAA!!!!!
But you loose the logo unless you want a square that looks like before the cleaning...
That polish machine is actually from " Maguires " an AUTO MOTIVE wax and polish company. I know cause I've got the very same one, and it is actually very good. As for the logo, you can use electricians tape. Works just fine. You really don't need all this shit, just get any cymbal cleaner and clean on a regular basis. Your cymbals should be just fine! Ask yourself a question. Why don't the major cymbal companies come out with process? Cause it's not needed! Waste of money and time!
lol brasso

zbt ride sounds better than the B8 ride
@Seffyr I agree. I think someone should come out with a one step cleaner specific to cymbals that don't ruin logos. My band director wants to preserve the logos even though they have no importance to the band whatsoever. This video doesn't tell you where to buy the stuff either. Nor does it explain what's in the products or how it works.
at the end, the cymbals look like a grey metal but they really are gold :/
where is logo
where is the profound ? the polish ?
put ht + tp + :/ + / in front of links
yea I'm a skeptic, there doesn't seem to be enough information in this video, it looks like they have just dressed up their product as best they can to sell.
yeah but if u block the logo sabian, zildjian, paiste.meinl e.t.c. its dirty there to so your just gonna do all that polishing and have ur logo dirty as hell i like it and i also dont
What if you clean the cymbals then the LOGO will come off?
This also voids Sabian's manufactures warranty
you'l still get your dis colouring around thew logo? you cant be that fine with a buffer.
But I like my logos :(
just put tape on the logos clean it take the tape of an viola
yeah when u are polishing the cymbal youre taking actual material from it! so it just makes it more weak! and wth with the logos!
unless its ridiculously expensive, I don't see a reason not to try it out.
Heavy crash -> Paper thin crash
Sorry!! But what a waste of money!!
they last longer then your average cymbal tho
Who else hears the voice of Herbert ther pervert from Family Guy?
i dont give a shit that it took that logo off.... i wouldnt want them to know that beautiful brilliant finish is on a crappy b8 haha
Jesus!
Ill pass cuz I like people knowing I have an hhx and 3 aax
So if you use the logo saver, you'll have a dirty spot behind the logo. I'd rather have a beautiful looking cymbal than to have the logo anyway. What a great product.
This would totally make your cymbals sound bad if you put this on your cymbals
Just squeeze ketchup all over the cymbal, use a paint brush to spread it around real thick, wait fifteen minutes and rinse it off with a garden hose. None of this crap.
Word! lol
b8 cymbals dont look that shiny from factory, and in my view therefore are not meant to be that shiny, looks more like your taking the entire lacquer coating off
what the fuck happened with the logo
ROFL true story
bullshit cause its shiny it sounds louder!!! Wrong!!
its a fucking sticker.
I like them not polished and with logos.
haha, at least it's not a zbt
idk, that really doesn't matter to me, i think i'll stick with my Sabian Hand Hammered's and Zildjian K's, i hate budget cymbals.
who the fuck cleans their cymbals this thoroughly?
i mean...if i don't want to sell the cymbals again i'd like better to have them clean and shiny like this and give a fuck about the logo...
long long long intro
they both are polished trash can lids for kids that can't afford real cymbals and that's all there is to it
A B8.. no logo?? No big deal, B8s are disposable anyway.
@brent0529 Zildjian and Sabian logos readily available from the manufacturers for as little as one dollar.
