Be aware some of the 2.4l Multiair engine covers also have a 10mm bolt that holds the cover down. The bolt is on the right side of the engine towards the rear of the cover. You will break the cover at the corner if the bolt is not removed.

There is no bolt holding the engine cover on, it just pops off as he showed in the video
Amaizing video, I was ready to buy a Jeep Compass with a blown head gasket. You save my life. Im a 40 year mechanic, ànd there is no way to do this job without remove the engine drom the car. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hell of work just to change the gasket... Is it even possible without taking the enginge out? I can imagine it is super tight if not impossible to remove / mount the timing chain cover properly...
What is that other deep hole next to the spark plug hole with the screw in it?
Do you have a video of the VVAA being re-installed? Chrysler said I need a special 10259B compressor tool for removal and reinstallation or it’ll be damaged.

You dont need a tool you can use a screwdriver to compress the hydraulic rams and then slide the rockers into place.

What is that PCV hose you disconnected after the hiring harness?
Is this the same for a Jeep Compass 2014. Also some of the parts listed says it doesn’t fit my car

95% similar, throttle body is on the lower half of the engine on the Patriot. That’s the only difference I noticed.
What type of impact drill u using 🤣 that’s a bad mf 💪🏽
