Cyclone Tauktae is a currently active Cyclonic Storm in the Indian Ocean. It is the first tropical cyclone, and first very severe cyclonic storm of the 2021 North Indian Ocean cyclone season. This video shows satellite imagery of its development from a tropical storm to a cyclonic storm, and finally its landfall in the Indian State of Gujarat.
Currently, it has 1 minute sustained winds of 110 knots/ 125 mph and a minimum central pressure of 942.
