Cycling through Iya Valley, Shikoku, Japan
Video from my cycling trip through the Iya Valley in Shikoku, Japan.
These are scenes from the road set to music by Joe Hishaishi, a track from Kikujiro no Natsu called 'Summer'.

An old video, but really nice. Something about that music.
@alooee Hey, I had removable Ortlieb panniers that I could lift off the bike and take with me when I needed, so there were no problems when I went into onsens or other places like that. When I went for longer walks, I just took my camera and wallet and left the bike with panniers behind a tree or something - not as risky in Japan as in other places!
hey, i'm enjoying your videos on cycling through shikoku! next month i'm going to begin my first ever completely self-supported tour and the first part of it will be through shikoku. kind of an amateur question buuut i'm wondering -- when you were swimming and enjoying the onsen, what did you do with your bike? i'll have a fully loaded bike as well, and i'm thinking about what i'm supposed to do when i want explore on foot. don't want to be attached to the bike 24/7!
I am going to Iya next week. What is the name of the onsen @ 1.32? Would like to go there.
It's called Iya Onsen, not far from the famous (I have no idea why) pissing boy statue.
Omg it is soooo beautiful there! Is it real expensive to live down there?
