Wonderful ride with Mary Jane! It was so nice to see her reaction to the Unisphere and other areas you showed her. Hope to see more collabs with Mary Jane, AK. Thanks for posting!

The Unisphere is still one of my favorite features from the city!
All that distance on one gear? Impressive! Vanterbilt motor parkway is a secret gem in Queens. The history behind it equally just as interesting as you are literally taking a ride through history on it. Thanks for the upload!
Awesome! Ken and Mary Jane, perfect combination!
Good weather,nice a day,thank you for your cycling,enjoy it.
I found myself squawkin on at the cars that were being rude or dumb, and I wasn't even the one riding the damn bike! LOL!!!!
With the bike I love much much much more your video’s! 👍👍
It is so good to see both of you cooperate again. I love your videos! 😃❤️😀
Worlds best bikeride. I have seen it 20 times. I love it.
Great to see these lesser known green areas. Mary Jane is very charming, perfect companion for this ride
Yes, F. Scott Fitzgerald mentions the roadway in his novel The Great Gatsby. Gatsby and Daisy drive on it going east to Queens to Myrtle's apartment in Corona, Queens. They pass by Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, which back in the 1920s was a sprawling ash dump with mounds of ash 100 feet high, "The Valley of Ashes."

Nice ride, you guys got up so early, I feel the fresh air in the morning
My grandmother had 1960 home movies of the worlds fair. This brought back memories.
Great ride! Love how you both also enjoyed each other's company! Thanx 💕
First time I've seen the Unisphere with the fountains in person my heart almost stopped I had to look away. When I researched NYC 1964 World Fair for some reason the Unisphere did not look sooooooooooooo tall. This video does give it justice it's larger then it looks.
Very very nice ! Thank you guys ! I really loved it !

Beautiful 😊☺🤗🤗
Been living here for 60 yrs and never knew about that bridge connection over the grand central to the flushing promenade, I've seen the entrance to that bridge on Ditmar's Blvd. many times but never knew where it went so thanks for exploring.
Hey Action Kid thanks for the bike ride once again a place of the state of New York that's interesting and expancive Flushingmedows park great

Great video bro
Great videos
Replaying now! Have a wonderful day
More cycling videos please! :)))) Thank you AK
Such a wonderful cycling trip with Mary Jane - really enjoyed it. However, the best part was the idea of the timelaps with music at the end of the video. Especially the speedy downhill section. So refreshing! You should occasionally do this to your walking videos, too. Looking forward to the upcoming videos. Great work AK!
amazing all theses green paths and parks, the part with the white flowers is really great
I was hoping against hope you would make it to my old neighborhood (Alley Pond Park) on the bike path. It ran right behind the apartments where I lived and I walked on it many times, on the way into the Park. Looks like that section if the path you were on ended near Francis Lewis Blvd.
57:00 Classic NYC moment: A highway built under another highway build under a subway which is build under yet another subway.
We just did this ride yesterday from LES but our destination was the Hindu temple on Browne street. Took the ferry to Astoria and set off from there. Beautiful ride. Temple is gorgeous with a vegetarian canteen in the basement. Thanks MJ and AK for showing the world our beautiful borough of Queens,
Nice trail at the end.
Great video...Loved Mary Jane's reaction to the park..Thank You...
Great trip. Thx
Best part: 1:56:17 to 1:59:39 Nice music!!
Ken knows all the ways.
Beautiful video.
Loved the ending, the music and time lapse was perfect!👍
Super duper video u guys Have more together
Brand new gorpo 9 just released so you can really level up your production value now. New "scoots" that are out are truly awesome, too if you want to try out the latest and greatest on two wheels whilst going all electric bev.

Good riding guys
Great video . AK has a biking partner ! Mary Jane has been doing biking videos from getting a bike and training for her endurance . AK does not have to do solitary biking vids always. I have not seen any other NYC bloggers who are bikers . i. e. Ariel , TomD, Sarah, Jennifer O. Walk Run Fly . Good call for both AK and Mary Jane .Born and bred AK acts as the tour guide and Mary Jane acts as our surrogate tourist . Reacting as we would if we experienced this for the first time .

Good Morning
This is in response to her question on LaGuardia Airport. There are some international flights out of LaGuardia but these destinations have United States pre clearance. So Canada, Nassau Bahamas, Bermuda and Aruba you go through U.S immigration and customs at those destinations before boarding your flight to the United States. Upon arrival you simply claim your bags and leave without any additional immigration or customs formalities.
ニューヨークのクィーンズってこんな感じなんだ
that first Korean church you seen and said its name that was on its own block was just a 1 family home for many years until sold and made into a church , imagine you have your own block LOL
The audio of both is excellent! How do you do it? Love both of them each and together. So enjoyable and I love Queens the best, thanks to AK that gives me a sense of orientation a bit even though am still confused why is this called NYC. Not State? In italy vegs and fruits are in rows whilst Mary Jane is right, here looks nice and neat. Beautiful ending with the music and all. Watched it to the end.

@@BrianKliewer Oh wow! Only now I understand yet I've been to NY Manhattan several times but thought that's the city whereas others are only NY State. Thanks to AK I got to know outside NYC is places that have green surroundings, I never knew before. Wen to Westchester once but in the night and I didn't know where exactly it was. And now, watching all those classic black and white movies are much more real now as I thought they were all just in NY Manhattan or other States. Came to love Queens now. But also New Jersey but that's that's not NYC then. Thanks so much for your info on educating me. Much appreciated.
hi mr kenny hi ms jane
I loved this video the best of all ActionKid trips, especially the last part! Does anyone know what the song was at the end?
@constructor2763
3 жыл бұрын
I was thinking that also. The song is: ELFL - Never or Right Now
well done
42:24 Mary Jane has a point because when I used to drive on Onts ario's Highway's at the speed limited my kids would get upset at me saying that when I'm driving in the middle or far left side I need to speed up. Just because all the others cars were going passed the speed limit which I hate because you can get into a car accident or pulled over by the police. I would say, where does it say to go faster? There answer was, you just know, which is not a good reason for me to go faster. Is it the same way in NYC?
I need to change my life and become a travel host, so many pretty ladies and cool scenery. First, let me just go back in time 30 years...
Great ride! What's that song at the end?

In SF, we have cycling rules and etiquette to help keep each other safe. Most of us follow these but there are always a few scafflaws! We say "slowing" so those behind us know to slow down. We call and use hand signals when we stop, left turn, and right turn. We point to debris on the road so others can avoid them. What about NY cyclists?
@waynepond8748

In Queens where I live there is less congestion than in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Many times on my bike rides there are not a lot of other cyclists. There is also a more suburban feel to many neighborhoods in Queens so to me it’s more laid back than if I bike ride in Manhattan. There it’s lots of other cyclists so communicating your intentions to other riders as well as being on high alert of other riders is the norm
They should really change the timing on the lights along the open streets to only turn red when a car is coming
I didnt get a shout out on the last video. 😮
👍
Good night, I think your other fans would like a Christmas special, with Mary Jane, Tom, Jennifer and everyone else that this difficult year was with us, we want a celebration of life, hope and solidarity, talk about funny things that happened in 2020, is the suggestion. From Campo Grande, Brazil.
the long island expressway was built when there were no homes and some farms
One of the best I've seen so far; very upbeat in comparison to Union Tpke- Question: How do you get back home? After 2 hours, yer probably bushed. I haven't seen this area or any other section of NYC since may late 20s. What a change! Ever gonna do any parts of Nassau County - Mineola, Carle Place, Westbury?
Hi do you have any idea what it costs to operate the small newstands we see around ny city and any procedures for licences, thank you
