Cycling Across India: Part 1 - North India
Here's my first of three videos reflecting my epic cycling adventure from north to south india.
This short film reflects the last few months of my epic cycling trip through North India. Life out on the road in the north has been a pure delight of the senses and has reinforced my fascination with the open road and new horizons. I have now cycled over 1,300km amongst the great Himalayan mountain range, through forests and barren mining towns, camping in the wild as I go, tracing the river Ganga and discovering a small spiritual refuge and family in Rishikesh.
This will be my first short film and I know it will not do justice to real experience but I hope within it to have squeezed out some of the essence and 'soul' of what this adventure is about and create little pockets into the world of a young, stubborn idealist, caught in full flower and sound moving his way across India by bike.

Nice video dude! May I have a question? Does solo bikepacking in india safety? About camping, valuables, etc. And have you ever met bad people on the trip? Thx

Thanks, Barr! India is very safe indeed. In six month i had no trouble with any locals and i found 99% of people to be warm, helpful and hospitable people. The only people i has some trouble with was around the big cities like delhi where people try to over charge me for things like rooms and food but this only happened a few times. Assume good will - and you shall receive it. Enjoy bro!

"Assume good will - and you shall receive it." great words. I used to always doubt people when I was traveling and it only leads to trouble and fights.

I was driving a scooter just outside of Kathmandu once at 1 am and there was a leopard crossing the road. At one point I was only about a meter far from him. It was scary as hell. I would suggest you do not drive or ride a bicycle at night. As for camping, I'm really not sure how you can keep your self safe in that situation. Maybe jack can help? coz I'm planning on cycling through Asia next year. Thanks man
