Lots of these old flathead B&S 3, 3.5 and 5hp Briggs are hidden in garages, barns, sheds, basements. We often find then in scrap yards or on the scrap pile out back of the local small engine repair shop when their power equipment has outlived it's usefulness. In the true spirit of the Cyclekart, they are still quite adequate for use on many a light Kart. With just a minimal investment in a carburetor kit and possibly a couple other items you can power your Cyclekart for next to nothing. If you're not into the hobby for a place on the podium this can save you from spending $150 for that Predator down at HF .
