Yes, braking may be a factor although most of the racecourses in my area are unpaved.

I completely agree with your design layout, most of the cyclekarts I have seen have too little weight on their front axles and too much on the rear for good cornering. Are you planning on aluminium or fiberglass for the body panels?

Probably fibreglass, a skill I have yet to acquire. The only worry with a weight forwards CycleKart is reduced braking performance. Thanks for the comment :-)
