"Hellingly Lions" of Sussex have arrived to tackle the Edmonton "Saints" in a Grand Challenge Cycle speedway match. There are four contestants in this bicycle race - two from each team. Race consists of four laps of the track.

Succession of panning shots of the race are intercut with C/U shots of the faces of supporters and shots of the falls and other details of the race. "One of the tricks of the game is to ride an opponent into the side so that he cannot take the bend without falling. It looks dangerous but casualties are rare" - claims the voiceover.
