I’m at first time mom and have owned/ installed about 5 different car seats. In my opinion this was one of the easiest I’ve installed using the seatbelt method. It was easy to push down and make sure it didn’t move or jiggle around. Love the seat overall.

I was hesitant to purchase an open box carseat but it came in excellent condition and saved $35. Box was damaged as stated before I purchased it, but the kzread.infoUgkxIxQe7nPH74g_xtI5NgiE9-zpGNkfgovw car seat looks brand new and I don't think it was ever used. I will update of course if I have any issues with this carseat but I don't think I will. Also it is surprisingly lightweight, the handle feels secure unlike my previous EvenFlo that was gifted to us. Love it !

Soooooooooooooooo excited to get this in the mail next week from Amazon!!!! I’ve watched MANY reviews on all-in-1 carseats and my Bestie/Auntie to our almost 1 year old son,purchased this for his birthday and we are VERY excited to install and test it out and use it for all the AWESOME years to come!!! This video fails to show how much of a pain it is to install the seat (facing the rear). Seriously considering returning the seat. For this much money, I expect more resources from the manufacturer.

are you using a seatbelt or latch install? i found the seatbelt to be a little complicated but the latches were super easy! this trick helped me install with the seatbelt: these lockoffs are one way lockoffs. unlike other lockoffs, these have a grippy edge that runs in one direction. instead of getting the vehicle seat belt tightly secured in the lockoff BEFORE closing the lockoff, the Eternis’ lockoffs need to start off loose on the inside of the seat - the more slack, the better. hope this helps!

I’d have to agree. Not only is it a pain but the seat continues to come loose (in rear facing Position). I’ve owned this car swat for a while and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come across the seat being loose. This is the reason I looked at this video and I was doing everything just like the lady in the video. What they also failed to do is the “tug” test in rear facing position from the rear of the seat... it always comes looses ( in the tug test they did it from the front, closest From the anchor point).

The sensor safe chest buckle is garbage. My 1 year old can open it by just touching the button. Sometimes it even opens on its own. Definitely not worth the money. Gonna return it.
