No the footage were real but they literally written all over it that everything shows isn’t gonna be in the game but either they added most if not all features to the game now

4:42 this “newbie” thing is an issue in the main game as well, V is an overpowered god in combat but a lot of stuff happens in the “cutscenes” where you have no control of the character and it feels really annoying: you know in mass effect 3 when Kai Leng shows up and Shepard and friends suddenly become idiots to make him look cooler? Same thing, but multiple times in the game. Edit: your take on the story is also on point: I love the lore and the setting, but the main story ranges from boredom to straight up depression sometimes, I had WAY more fun playing gigs and secondaries rather than the main storyline.

thats one of the reasons why ı really like games like DOOM Eternal. The entire narrative and cutscenes tells us DOOMGUY is badass af yet in gameplay you can get your ass beat no problem, until you master the gameplay loop where you do finaly get to be that rage incarnate everyone talks about and its great. That was one of my problem with the new indie shooter Turbo overkill where in gameplay you can do some insane shit and in some cutscenes main character Johnny does wacky, weird and awsome stuff yet in some cutscenes so many shity dumb shit happens and you get backstabbed or randomly get captured even though you can one man army entire platoons of enemies (Turbo Overkill is still fucken awsome thoe liked it much more than Starfield but ı prefer FPS to RPG anyways).

Yea, I hate NPCs in games treating you like a noob when any other time in the game your a one man army with a kill streak in the thousands. Was actually surprised in Starfield when some marines treated me like a badass when I stormed in and saved everyone from an attacked by myself. I'll play Cyberpunk eventually, seems to be fixed enough.

While I like it when NPCs are given these comments EVENTUALLY, I feel Bethesda consistently overdoes the chosen one trope. Haven't played SF yet but from what I hear it's more of the same. In CP you get told you look like a cut of f**kable meat so there's that to look forward to atleast

Enemies are bullet sponges with 2.0 because they added level scaling. Really kills the fun of a lot of builds.

What's the point of getting a legendary badass weapon when it takes the same number of shots to kill an enemy as the level 1 starter pistol did? Also, a random street junkie shouldn't put up the same amount of fight as a highly trained and equipped Arasaka soldier.

Branching story-lines, actual impact in the game world, consequences in the story... all that could've actually possible if they didn't need to laser-focus on silverhand and his story. Could have been a great Expansion now that i thing about it.

I feel bad for Mike Pondsmith. He was probably so excited to see his creation come to life and instead got handed a half assed, buggy, shallow and contrived mess. I know he said he liked how it came out, but I highly doubt he's being 100% honest. It's completely unlike his table top version. Not that that's easy to put into a video game, but it doesn't even attempt to have a variety of different play styles or endings. Just Bioware A B or C ending all over again.

2:18 It makes me so god damn mad that companies slap the term "RPG" on any game with a leveling system and perks. If your game's main character is fully voice acted, has a backstory, has a predetermined name and basically acts like the same person regardless of whatever dialogue choice you pick, its not a fucking role playing game. Doesn't matter if it has character customization if every character you make is the same person, just with a different skin suit. That goes for the Witcher series, too.

In Cyberpunk 2077 you play the story of a snarky punk/criminal called V who through trying to become a legend in Night City got a terminal illness installed in his brain. Geralt is a mutated monster-hunter who's in search of his adopted daughter, born with special powers. CDPR don't make RPG's, they do Story-driven Action games with, at best, RPG elements.

The actual ending might be depressing. BUT. Look at it this way. Phantom Liberty makes it clear that what's wrong with V CAN be fixed. It's physically possible to do it. So it makes vanilla endings like The Star or The Sun more hopeful and less depressing now. We know for a fact that it's possible. So we now have real hope that in the endings where V is still looking for a cure they just might find it.

One of my big problems with the game. Good looking city filled with depressed, ugly people. Panam is the only attractive character in the game. The games is chock full of ugly tats too. I'd think once augs became a thing tats would go away. The fact none of the endings are very good is just a slap in the face after all the time we spend getting there.

It takes a real pimp to give such an honest review.

Glad to see that I wasn’t the only one disappointed by the 2.0 update. Melee combat felt like I was running around hitting mfers with a wet pool noodle while simultaneously doing heavy damage and being virtually unstoppable without having a single perk selected!

Finally someone who understands that fixing the bugs does not fix the game. For me I will never be satisfied or even consider forgiving CDPR unless they overhaul the entire main quest to not be so out of place with the game they created. If the game is most fun when you don't engage with main story content then no matter how good that story seems it doesn't belong in the game.

@@Gannoh I too wanted new Vegas in the cyberpunk world. We didn't get that but I still enjoyed the story immensely and didn't really feel it was contrived. I didn't like the new ending with phantom liberty due to the way certain characters act in it (Panam being the most notable one, but it looks like they couldn't get the voice actor back) and the way it's trying to manipulate you when the ending is in fact mostly positive.

@@chrispekel5709 fair take, I was never expecting New Vegas, but I think the issue was they couldn't even live up to the standards they set with The Witcher 2 or 3. The story was far more linear, had more writing problems, AND it was shorter. Maybe The Witcher 3 is just too exceptional of a game, but I think they just dropped the ball hard with 2077. A big amount of branching paths got cut, the game released broken, and even once the expansion dropped it too had cuts and was left worse off for it. TW3 had maybe like two questlines that got cut, Dijkstra's and Iorveth's, but the expansions are still immensely quality and what's there is great on its own.

I firmly believe this DLC would be significantly better if Madam president was played by Terry Crews. He doesn't even need to change his outfit. And the fact he's the wrong gender can be explained by the only 4th wall break that is completely justified.

I can't rock the barbarian throw build, cause I've discovered the dash momentum carries into jumps and now I'm Megaman X, moving faster than cars.

@@naruroGCS Edgerunners wasn't terrible, but by no means was it good. Think back to every generic, overindulged moment they threw in. The cuts and corners on animation quality to slam that show out in the schedule they wanted for it, as well as the utterly convenient story, generic characters, characters who lacked any motivation at all, etc. It isn't "braindead hate mode", I think it is just how mass produced everything is and the consequences of that on a personal, individual level. Everything has the same plot beats, the same character types, the same motives, the same girlboss archetypes, the same broken on launch bullshit, and even down to the same external third-party content crap that gets peddled after a big botched release to somehow cool down the online rioting. I mean, for fuck sake, devs, creative directors, film directors, advertisers, etc, etc, they are all willing to and do lie to you, the consumer, just to get you to consume. Just think about it. None of this game, nor the show, deserve any high-praise. The game didn't even reach the bare minimum, and the show WAS the boiler-plate average for animation, or at least what should be the generic average for storytelling.

Only hope i have for this game is a mod removing the main quest and keanu reeves

I'd just like to point out something I noticed about cyberpunk 2077 while high on edibles. Cyberpunk 2077's gameplay is like an upgraded version of that little fps from sunbreeze called "SYNDICATE" it came out around 2010 and it is still a beautiful and underrated GEM!!!!!

Great game, but you need to fire your autocorrect as it was STARbreeze that developed that game. Last good game they made in fact. After Syndicate crashed and burned the old team went over to Machine Games where they are now churning out amazing Wolfenstein games, while Starbreeze and Overkill gives us... Payday 3.

​@@Lost_YetiI played through the entire game on launch with a GTX 1070 with solid fps on a mix of high and medium settings and only big glitch I had was a cyberpshyco mission bugging out and not completing but that fixed itself after loading a save. The game did feel hella rushed, the entire intro is bad and should have been a lot longer, The same is true for the rest of the story. Side quest were ok and some were quite fun but it had too few good ones. Games was a ok 6/10 at launch now it's 7 maybe a 7.6 good foundation but still lacking a lot of things.

@@Lost_Yeti Mate, I’m gonna dick-ride any game company that puts out a quality product and as far as I’m concerned… CDPR a never fucking misses. I played the game on launch on PS5 and it had some glaring issues such as frequent crashing, broken AI, broken physica, etc but it maintained a solid 60fps and the actual game part of it such as the gameplay, quests and story was genuinely amazing. I know some dude responded to your comment saying the game is a solid 7.5/10 now… I think even that is being way too harsh on the game. Cyberpunk 2077 is easily a 9/10 AT LEAST and should be the benchmark for action RPGs going forward

Did they really put the Madam Secretary character in the DLC?

It only took them 2 years to implement police ai that rivals ps2 games. Isn't CDPR just great? And they're amazing enough to even make you pay again for this, masterpiece

The writing in this game always sucked, and not only sucked but they basically stole everything from other sources. Escape from New York come to mind? IMHO when they never gave an option for V to save himself they shot themselves in the foot. This also was another stupid writing mistake. I mean what are new DLC going to do? Once your dead your dead and the story ends are we supposed to relish the fact that we can depressingly see ourselves die again? How stupid we spend hours trying to save our lives only to die in the end. The whole game is pointless, there is no feel good moment at the end, only the feeling that you have wasted hours of gameplay. See how the writers shot themselves in the head.

How do you still have so few subscribers? All your content is fantastic. Keep up the awesome work!

Just played for first time in 2.0. Games still full of bugs in every front: I've had few gamebreaking bugs, including one I needed to fix with a mod, inventory management is terrible, framerate is horrible without DLSS, police ai is so primitive they immediately start blasting if you scratch somebody's knee, the environment is barely interactable... The game is a joke compared to something like RDR2, and that came two years BEFORE CyberScam

Oh, CD Projekt Red... you don't need to tell me that you secured financing from Blackrock and other ESG funds. Madam President, Queen of the Battlefield, and the budget cuts already make it clear. Oh well. At least it's finally patched to the point it should have been at in the first place. Only took three years AFTER launch to have a finished product. Hurrah?

Wow, only one mention of budget cuts? This game has a CRIMINAL lack of budget. In a future where body mods are as common as cell phones are today, you BETTER BELIEVE that there will be MAD HONKERS EVERYWHERE.

Even if it was fixed, it just isn't the game it was billed as. Which is a moot point really, I'm not going to reward them for finally fixing something they released for full price three fucking years ago.

I stand by it: I played cyberpunk on launch on my middle class gaming pc with my old 1080 (not ti) and it ran just fine for me. No crashes and only minor bugs, nothing like the car flipping or a gun going invisible. So I really don't understand all this drama.

​@@noah8162 I encountered at least two game breaking bugs in the first 2 hours, main quests - K.Plazza elevator and johnny's permanent vision effect, something that CDPR didnt fix for 3 years, I only fixed them thanks to mods. So CDPR simps, fangirls and bandwagoners are extremely biased and quite ridiculous.

As much as I adore Cyberpunk 2077, the critiques in this one are spot-on, especially how the game often forces you into dialogue after dialogue moments with little to no gameplay opportunities. And a lot of the choices in the conversations don't even amount to much. Edgerunners is honestly paced way better than the actual game's main story cutscenes. Just like FAFA FLEEK says in his Vietnam-War-induced ramblings, "STOP RESISTING! STOP RESISTING!"

@@Arnyh0ld , I like games with lots of dialogue when done right. I do think that there's an objective flaw with how CDPR handled the pacing of the dialogue trees in this game and its depiction of V. At least, from my experience, The Witcher 3 and games like Deus Ex: Human Revolution/Mankind Divided had a better understanding of how to integrate those moments into the actual core gameplay loop along with making the choices seem much more significant. There were times in Cyberpunk 2077 where I would just ask myself "Where's the part where I actually get to play the game?", and that rarely happened to me in other titles with similar mechanics. I don't necessarily agree entirely with Fleek, but I do think he has a damn good point about the conversational narrative points with Cyberpunk 2077 on an objective front. And it's also fine if you still would agree to disagree on your end since I do see and understand your point to an extent. I just simply believe that not everything (even art as an artist myself working in the indie comics industry) has to be subjective.

I honestly thought it was odd that they were so spongey when i was already maxed out with god tier weapons... yet it still took forever to kill them, then i swapped to melee weapons and somehow did 10x the damage while not even stealthed?

I want more of that FLEEKAZOID extended dialogue cut lol

The gameplay is fun at first but becomes boring when u run out of gigs to pursue. No matter what tree u specialize into, u will be overpowered. Playing a stealth build becomes boring really fast. More fun just to jump in and destroy everything. The new ending is garbage. I watched the vids and avoided choices that unlocked it. The romance options were always trash, didn't romance anyone in any of my play throughs. The best ending is still the ending from don't fear the reaper where V goes into space for Mr blue hands. The phantom liberty dlc is actually fun. There are parts when it sucks like madam president surviving a plane crash and if u don't have enough points in body, she overpowers u. Looked like pandering to a certain class of sub humans that live under the fantasy that having a vagina somehow gives u superpowers. The boss fights in a certain route where V has to play hide and seek with a rogue AI was probably the best part in the dlc. The game is okay. Just play the dlc, the new gigs and then delete it from ure harddrive. The phantom liberty and 2.0 changes adds just a little more but eventually the novelty runs out quickly. There is zero incentive to have a fresh playthrough.

There's an entire other ending mission if you side with Songbird inside the Stadium, but I bet you didn't realise that. Also, she can overpower you because she's chromed up. She even says it (I can hear my chrome jingling or something). Also, many of the side missions completely change if you make a different choice. I'm playing the DLC through again and it's very different. It's no New Vegas for player choice but it's waaaaaaaay better than the base game

@@chrispekel5709 if ure referring to the firestarter mission where u have to choose to either side with songbird or with reed; then I have actually played both. But in both branches I didn't give songbird up to the nusa because I wanted to avoid the new ending that's out on utube. If there is indeed another ending, please elaborate and I'll check it out. My two playthroughs after firestarter either ended with songbird going to space or letting her die; if there is something I have missed then please let me know. Would appreciate it. Thanks in advance

I stopped playing a long time ago and everytime I try to hop back in I’m met by a voice IN THE GAME saying the best line I’ve ever heard “the net is just a rusty car with a new coat of paint! A heap of Dogshit spritzed with perfume!” Something I always say when someone says “what do you think of cyberpunk?”

The funny thing is this game ran perfect for me on my system when it released and they have continuously downgraded it since launch. To the point they offered a graphic upgrade to enhance what they killed but never recaptured the original look. Kinda like Assassin's Creed: Origins. One of the few 'open world' games I've played where I look for every opportunity to complete side missions and mindless kill for XP because there just isn't much to do.

i played this game 3 times with its 3 background back in its 1.0 version. actually 1.0 on a amd A10-7700k and Rx580 with 45fps has minimal bugs, my playthrough was bug free but then came updates and that broke it left and right, i was sitting out side of the flying cab while the can was driving. and all shorts of crowd wildness. then came phantom liberty and now on this scratch playthrough i cant decrypt the militech credshard, for the flathead mission. i was wondering is this normal or do i need a lot more in intelligence which is not possible in the very first cinematic combat.

As a person who played it on computer, I did have zero problems with my game it’s kind of hilarious how bad it was on PlayStation 4 compared to PC

Yeah, it was bad at launch on ps4. I found it to playable (with some bugs still but not horrible) after about a month of patches. It was still scummy what they did though, should've just delayed the ps4 and xbone launch a month so it was in a semi decent state. They didn't want to miss out on all the Christmas purchases though.

I upgrade my pc every other gen, however i also do own certain consoles as well. I did my 3090 build in 2019 thanks to my local microcenter. I waited an entire YEAR after release to play 2077,and it was still pretty messy. This 2.0 crashes constantly on my 3090/x570/5900x setup. My workstation at my job runs it,but also constantly crashes lol wtf just the way it is
