I’ve heard bad things about gaming laptops

One thing I love in Cyberpunk that doesn't get mentioned enough is the motion blur while driving; a lot of games don't have very high quality motion blur, or if they do, they feel bashful about letting the effect be very potent, since some people dislike the blur. I love the smooth, high quality blur as the world flies under your wheels. More games should let you increase the blur to levels like this, just provide a slider in the options so blur junkies like me can crank it up and those that dislike motion blur can turn it off.

@Torakka2 Ow Personally, motion blur, especially camera blur, is a must on 30fps games. Everything is so choppy without it that I get a headache. It definitely varies from person to person though, lots of people feel sick from camera blur, so it's just up to personal preference. Thankfully, they provided a slider though, so you can turn it off and I can turn it up, best of both worlds.

@@eon5417 I guess it comes down to preference. Personally feel that low FPS is worse in terms of motion sickness. Though I usually turn motion blur off in any game so don't know about it much.

I cannot even imagine how gaming is like in 50 years from now.

well frames wont be a problem in 10 years on most gaming machines including consoles, but in 50 years we will be using entirely different and probably 500x faster methods of displaying pixels, able to reach any frames per second set while adding entirely new features. gaming natively at 20k resolutions. nah im just kidding. we wont even be using computers by then. probably mind-chip gaming

In response to the description. Dlss 3.0 probably was working ist just that some fls counters don't recognise/count the ai frames as real frames so they just ignore them.

Would be nearly perfect/the openworld game to play while we wait for GTA VI if car physics and ragdoll were more sophisticated. the NPC ragdoll should be at least on-par with GTA V, which is 9 years old now.

A year later i started a new playthrough and was like "fuck it, 30 or 60 fps am playing this shit either way" and hoo boy am glad i did because it was one of my favorite IF not my Favorite gaming experience of 2022

110 mods and yet your car is not flying, good sir? haha... Are there any core mods you'd recommend as far as getting close to this look? I like the new UI overlays (Entering Kabuki, etc) and the reshade/color saturation is money. I have a 3080ti and about 30 mods installed but this is glorious.

@@se7ense7ens37 Sadly no. But I've found a (different) nice reshade that also makes the colors much more vibrant. It's called 'Mango's Ultra Reshade'. The FPS can take a slight hit from it, but I think its worth it.

@@orangeguys because I have a 3060 paired with a ryzen 5 2600 turning on ray tracing causes a CPU bottleneck. The ray tracing options are more CPU demanding than GPU.

Odd,I have the same PC setup as you barring a slightly better CPU and I'm definitely not running over 70fps at all times. Whats avg fps do you get on the in game benchmark?

There should be times when the city is crowded to give it life with their actions and when it's not so you can cruise with your music playing. This is cool

After seeing this - and it's seriously nice, no doubt - I can't help but be impressed at how well it runs/looks as I play on PS4 Pro. Visually, a lot of its still there, but toned down. The only _real_ loss is that traffic/crowd density is cut back quite a bit.

@@snizza5350 Yes. It suffers from framerate drops in intense combat, driving, or dense areas, but if it's the only option you have to play, then IMO it's not a bad one.

my 3080/r9 5900x can run it with RT on at about 80-100 fps in 1440p, but I have to use DLSS and usually set it to balanced or the fps falls. Its still incredibly beautiful and immersive (especially with the 140+ mods I use) but this is truly another level.

nice! 2080ti here, and the best I can get with an ancient intel 7900x OC'd to 4.5ghz is 45fps. I get about high 20s no DLSS with everything maxed in 4k . With DLSS balanced (or higher) and no matter what settings I use I get 45, so it's likely the CPU holding me there. 45 is just enough for me to not want to turn RT off.. it just looks so good

his game is probably double the size of yours , 110 mods on top of the game still looks like a simple textured game to me , we're still Way off for ''realistic'' gaming especially when we now have to buy a complete new system or at least a new videocard to even get some descent frames in 4k ... and the prices these things go for is definitely not justified for the performance they give , they should cost half that
