The reason why those grenades didn't explode underwater is because they were smoke grenades. Only specific grenades will explode underwater.

The game is now in a playable state, I might say. What is sad is that all that is shown here should've been in the game from the very start, at the time of release.

@ 10:20 the reason the background buildings are different is because you're looking at the new Dogtown area which replaced the inaccessible area of Pacifica from before the 2.0 update.

Some of these are already in 1.63, like pushing the NPC's or them fighting back when you hit them. I think even the water with the Grandes.

I agree. They just hit the right spot with GTA and no game has captured that real life feel like it since. It’s kinda like how I love breaking bad but it’s also annoying because I don’t like other tv shows as much anymore because they’re nowhere near that standard

i can agree with physics. the physics in gta games are really good. but driving? its different than the standard that the gta games set, but different does not equal bad. gameplay? gameplay in cyberpunk is absolute fun incarnate. you have berserk, sandevistan, quickhacking etc, and theres a staggering amount of builds and playstyles to choose from. gameplay in cyberpunk is by far better than just point crosshair at enemy, shoot.

@@torphurus this is true. But I never felt that like… you know when you play a game and you’re just so immersed 3 hours go by and you feel like it’s been 30 minutes? I didn’t quite get that with cyberpunk like I did with games like god of war 2018 and Elden ring for example

A lot better now for sure but as someone who followed the game since it was announced seeing all the old trailers and interviews hurts still knowing most of the things they said would be in the game still are not in the game, but for what it is it’s still a good game just could’ve been so much better

It was good after release to be honest. I was on a good PC and I put 120 hours and didn't find game breaking bugs or immersion breaking bugs. Yeah there was lack of water physics (I didn't really care at this time) and the police system also wasn't a problem for me because I've never really started fighting with them, even now with the Patch 2.0 I avoid the police. But they really put a lots of effort to make the game for those people who like to messing with these systems, for me the story and hacking was the two most important part of the game and I really enjoyed it after release.

6:36 grenades do explode underwater, you just threw a flashbang grenade which does not create a massive blast

you can also now upgrade your dramatic vehicular exits for badass combat entrances

7:32 you're using a different granade type, the standard one will detonate with a water splash

CDPR should have delayed the release till 2023 if this game released it would receive much better reception instead of the buggy launch in 2020

You know that was impossible, right? CDPR is not an indie studio anymore and they don't make the games out of their own pocket, AAA games have a huge budget and a deadline, they announced the game too early, why do you think Rockstar didn't announced GTA 6? Still needs work, once they announce the game, that would be atleast one year before the actual release, that's the best way of releasing a game, imagine if they announced GTA 6 way before GTA V released, that's what happened with Cyberpunk, CDPR announced it when they were working on The Witcher 3, when Witcher 3 wasn't even announced, like really, what kind of marketing is that? You never announce something early in development, when the game is almost finished and enters the testing stage, yeah, announce the game, anyway, they rushed things with this game, maybe they didn't expected so much hype, especially with a new IP

I played it on patch 1.30 on a ps4 pro and it was perfectly playable, I have no regrets playing it as I've only just got a ps5, so I'll probably play it again in the not too distant future as I want to play the expansion and it's been 3 years since I originally played it. I also aim to play metro exodus, praey for the gods, hellpoint, days gone and the witcher again with their ps5 upgrades

Wet road effect looked better in the old patch but everything else looks better in current patch

The amount of detail and quality in cyberpunk is not lacking either, although i do believe we were not talking about delays. instead of your argument why cyberpunk is shit being only that "tHe laUnCh wAS bAd", go and play the damn game and appreciate the amount of effort they have put in.

The differences between the two sceneries was the contrast in ray tracing but nothing to trivial. Maybe with movement and also what ever rig your running console or port station base. The night was always where CP77 shined

It's amazing since 2.0. One of the best come back stories ever.

I never even noticed the swimming shadow animation since I almost never swim in the game. There's really no reason to do so. But I'm glad the devs have worked hard all this time and actually fix the issues. The game really needed another year before it should've been released.

I think there was some other minor thing where you couldn't roll a car back over after it had been turned upside down. They fixed that in one of the older patches.

I feel like the game has just got out from the early access state, and Im glade that i have just started it with the 2.0 patch.

The underwater shadow animation reminded me of the Necromorph from Dead space lol

Came for the comparison, stayed for the relaxing Music!

Waiting is always worth it if it means it becomes a better game.

This is why I’m not too upset at GTA 6 taking so long id rather they take their time and fix all the bugs than to have a mess like this game

There's gonna be a follow-up 2.1 update which I hope introduces a car repair shop. I also absolutely flipped out of joy hearing police chatter in my car when I got wanted! Edit: still sad that last gen didn't get this update. It was for the best though, as the CPUs in those machines would fry themselves. Also buildings did get changed to adjust to the new DogTown DLC.

Definitely a dramatic improvement, my PS5 upgrade was free since I originally purchased the base game at launch in 2020. I played 1.0 for a few hours until I decided to quit and wait for 2.0 and Phantom Liberty. I’m about 50 hours into the game near the end and it’s finally worth playing.

I was kinda sad because this game was so promising but the timeline ruined its launch, that even now I can say that the experience is okay, but a ton of potential and new functions seems to be wasted in the missions and storyline, hopefully this is not the case with phantom liberty.

So now it has got the same lvl like GTA:S.A. Nice

I never got the car break issue. You call the car with your cyberware and it comes self driving. But when you suddenly exit the car and the same tech stops the car to prevent accidents or just to let you get back in. Ppl claim it unrealistic while it makes sense in the context of the world

In other words, this is what they've been able to fix since the release.

It was a mess when i played it back on the xb1x and after finishing the story on the worst outcome in the game. I couldnt be arsed to play it properly. Now with the release of the dlc its a joy to actually play it. Ive noticed a significant difference between 1.0 and 2.0

One thing I still don’t like about the police system is when someone is shooting at you and they join in instead of helping you out.

i think after 1 more year and it will be the one that people expected
