They are truly geniuses at picking actors, music and stories in their games. CDPR has some of the best stories and music ever in gaming.

The easter Egg is Idris Elba is an actual DJ in real life. Hands down one of my favorite actors ever.

I believe it could be that "+0,07%". Because, since it's a thriller and SPYING scenario... you can refer to this dude.. 007.. you know... James Bond. BTW I learned something new when you say Idris Elba is an actual DJ, I didn't know that. Adding this information, one could say the easter egg is "DJ and +0,07" which could read as "Here James Bond (+0,07) is Solomon Reed/Idris Elba (DJ)". Finally, I'm with you in Idris Elba's fanclub: I love this guy/actor too.

I've never been a fan of games using well known actors but CDPR obviously goes for quality before anything else with their casting.

@@Jizzlewobbwtfcus Meh, I think that's no different to VA. It's stranger to me hearing iconic video game voices doing other roles, like Geralt's VA or Adam Jensen's VA. The physical likeness barely factors in to the equation.

@@elmhurstenglish5938 there is a criticism that they sometimes phone it in, which is true, but the bigger problem is that VA is a different skill from being a stage or screen actor. recording in a booth with the script in front of you, no physical performance, and often not even any scene partner with you, is something VAs are used to but other actors are not. whereas this is almost entirely mo-cap, which with current technology is basically just regular screen acting with a bunch of gear strapped on.

I love his role as the bad guy in Fast and Furious Hobbs and Shaw. Now I am playing cyberpunk 2077 second time from beginning and can’t wait to see his performance in Phantom Liberty.

@@REDDEVIL9269 Some names that pop up would be John malkovich, Karl Urban and Joel Kinnaman. Who'd you pick? The whole RoboCop (Joel Kinnaman) thing honestly could fit Cyberpunk really well imo, aswell as Judge Dredd (Karl Urban).

Bringing back that passionate energy into gaming. The storytelling is absolutely beautiful, and having Idris and everyone else who lended their likliness and characterability to make this animation come to life. I can't wait to play this.

If the easter egg is 007 for James Bond, I would be super excited to see him as the next Bond! This also fits perfectly because of how this expansion is supposed to play out.

Neither CD Projekt Red or Idris Elba are going to be dumb enough to open themselves up to legal action by revealing information that would be covered by NDA agreements relating to the James Bond franchise in their completely unrelated game.

This DLC was absolutely tremendous and I loved Reed, such a grey character, he has so much gravitas and everything seems so impactful when he's on screen. Extremely good character, well done CDPR

So cool seeing Idris in this game. We need a full movie!

It's just amazing to watch this, to see Idris explain all that's going on in the trailer AND more... details that someone who actually cares would know... I didn't expect it, but I'm grateful for it. And the story and the game overhaul look absolutely amazing. An amazing actor for an amazing game.

The voice acting was absolutely 🔥🔥🔥 in Phantom Liberty.

I appreciate his knowledge of the source material, he seems to really understand the characters

Plot twist. This whole clip is CG Idris Elba.

I can't really describe how excited i am to replay the story from the start again, the cyberpunk world is just gorgeous, and fully draws me in, and the storytelling is top notch. What a vibe. Idris Elba killed this trailer, im so excited to see his role in the story unfold.

Im so glad i waited for my first playthrough the 3 extra years.

Think my favorite part is watching Elba eyes, you could tell he was as excited for the Expansion as everyone and really couldn’t wait to get it into people’s hands. I think he really valued his time on the team.

So Mei isn't paying attention in the airplane because she's interfacing with the player's character.

Idris is ALWAYS a win. He delivered, we enjoyed.

Especially kudos to the guy who made the soundtrack. The moment the betrayel hits... pure gold Also idris elba is such a cool dude.

The cast and storytelling are the strong CDPRs points. Despite all of game issues I really like and appreciate their work

Freaking guy can do no wrong in any roles he plays. What a brilliant pick with Elba. I love him so much.

I felt more for those two characters in this _very_ short film than I did in some of the movies I've seen. And just as Idris described the emotions and backstory, I was able to infer it all on my first watch. Excellent storytelling, all around.

"DJ 007" is the Easter egg. He is a DJ IRL and a secret agent in the game.

Just finished watching him in Hijack and re-watched Suicide Squad. Can't go wrong with Elba.

I love one thing about Idris - He is an actor of almost one face - but with his voice and wrinkles he can makes more expressions that many, many, many more other actors.

Just got done w the main story of the dlc and this might be Idris’ best performance yet😂. Cyberpunk already had the ability to make a masterpiece of a storyline but Idris really took it to the next level. Best dlc ever.

oh god, I saw the trailer, saw THIS video, played phantom liberty, had a blast forgot about Elba and everything and I just NOW figured out the easter egg, having returned to this video after hearing Dan interviewing Minji Chang for her voice work (sadly he did not have Idris on so far). cheeky little thing and I hope that easter egg will be prophetic for the sake of a beloved series.

I say it everytime and again there are Studios Like Goodbye Kansas Studio(did all the CG Trailer for Cyberpunk and many more right now is doing some VFX stuff for the LAOP Series), Axis Studios(did Great Episodes on LD+R), Blur Studios (the Studio from Tim Miller did a Lot of CG Trailers and many Episode for LD+R)Digic Pictures( also a Lot of Cinematics for Games) and more Studios that can pull of a full CG Animated Movies i would Love that or a series maybe

I want a full Idris Elba playthrough of cyberpunk 2077 with the phantom DLC. I would pay to watch that.
