I found a little quick side quest at Panams camp after her storyline. If you go over to one of the tents where people are talking you can join convo and it give you the fortunate son quest 😊

it's nice that guy at hospital tells you to wait and gives you a chip for the virus in that kidney.(i don't know why but i felt like he was betraying aldecaldos in my second playthrough so i executed him with the katana animation.)

Another thing to note about happy together is you don't get the optional objective if you don't talk about how his friend died in the first place which is a blue talk option.

Thanks for making CP2077 content. I am obsessed with this game right now and you by far have the best content!

Me too, I'm on my second run as a female so I can get the MaxTac armour from Judy after finishing her questline

"Ezekiel saw the wheel" can be wrapped up pretty easily when you've completed enough quests. I'm not sure how many as I was very close to lvl. 50 at the time. but you'll know it because there's a line where V says, "do you know who you're dealing with, I went there and did this" etc.

Can also easily be completed if you're doing a street kid run.

Also quests that someone might miss are The Sinnerman Questline -> nailing the serial killer to the cross Killing in the Name of -> finding the identiy of "Swedenfuck" as johnny calls him, which only becomes available after making nancy from the samurai band an available contact through his personal questline with rogue and kerry.

in the happy together quest you must choose the optional dialogue that says "how did Andrew die?" while speaking to barry to get the extra objective that will allow you to get the best ending

Thanks! Be careful around my easter egg "things you missed" videos though, some of those can be quite spoilery. Save those ones until you've finished at least 1 playthrough. I usually warn when there are spoilers but just in case, the last thing I want to do is mess up someone's game. My 37 tips video is pretty much spoiler free like this one as it is intended explicitly for new players.

I've only been able to trigger Prophet's Song one time (on my second playthrough, initial game release) and never again! Even though I always do the nomad side quests, I can never seem to get them to show up at Garry's to progress his quest line. It's still a very cool quest that was super fun to discover the first time! Also I've been racking my brain trying to figure out why I haven't gotten Sweet Dreams yet on my recent playthrough, I thought it was tied to the first River quest, never thought it could be the second one. Thanks for clearing that up because it's been bugging me!

I didn't miss any of these on my first time around, and I'm kind of dissapointed they're mostly all marked now. Those unmarked moments were a nice way to feel like the world of CP was more than quest markers and beating up bad guys.

After playing Elden ring i realized that the gigs in cyberpunk would have been MUCH better if they were unmarked and didnt have some dumbass fixer giving it to you as a quest, if they gave you some visual cues to find them it would have been so much rewarding and interesting instead of being held by the hand through out the questline.

In the old versions of the game, there were a couple like that, especially the police cases. There was a different icon system, and in some, there was only a question mark. But with all the scandal of the console's gentlemen, CDProject didn't promote more criticism and the mission marks was uniformed and simplified, among other things obviously. Anyway, the hidden gems don't have a mark on the map but they do have it on the stage: Blood strains on the ground or walls. Poorly parked or abandoned cars. We just have to go with eyes wide open.

I still remember (and am still sad) by the "depressed cop" hidden gig. It actually started at V's apartment but after the initial chat I didn't realize it was timed... Needless to say I took too long and it failed; making me pretty sad. However, it did give you a good insight into the dark nature of Night City where depression and suicides are pretty common. Also, this is a spoiler for Skippy so if you don't want to read it don't scroll down... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Skippy will offer you 2 modes when you first find him. Puppy-Loving Pacifist (only targets knees) or Stone Cold Killer (only targets heads). If you want to KEEP Skippy, you'll have to make sure you select the OPPOSITE firing mode first from the one you want to keep Skippy set to. This is because at around 50 kills with the weapon; Skippy will switch over to the other mode and will lock that one in. After some time Skippy will ask V to return it to its original owner. Doing so removes Skippy from the player's inventory and you will just get some measly Eddies; losing the opportunity to put Skippy on the wall in your apartment. If V refused to return Skippy, it will be upset, and all of its dialogue will be replaced with "BAD USER! BAD USER!". However, it seems that if you want to prevent that from happening, agree to return Skippy, but simply don't finish the quest. You should still be able to remove Skippy from your inventory that way (before that he was locked in your inventory) and still be able to display it on your wall without it constantly screaming "BAD USER!" when you enter that room. However, I just took the easy route and simply told him that he was mine now and I didn't care much about the BAD USER thing as I found Skippy's chattering and singing to be getting a little on my nerves. So a simple "BAD USER!" on occassion was fine with me.

Note to add to this: Target Analysis mod for your eyes, plus Smartlink, means even Stone Cold Killer mode doesn’t kill; unless you hit them after (or as) they are going down from being incapacitated. That combo works even for the Suicide quick hack, and then you get the weapon an enemy had “equipped” and a pistol (rarely a knife) that they pull out to “off themselves”.

Question: Do you have a list of certain jobs that need to be or should be done in a certain order so as to not miss out on the content / story? In one of your previous videos I heard you mention a few of these, but being that I haven't completed the game, the job names don't sound familiar. It would be great to have an ordered list. My OCD and FOMO kick in when I hear that I may have missed something in the story.

You're welcome! This list should cover it pretty much. The rest are all quite independently doable. So jot down the ones from here and that should keep your FOMO in check! As for order of the rest, to get a good flow of the storyline, IGN's guide is pretty solid (Not affiliated, just used it as reference myself)

I missed out on doing all of Delamain's missions in my most recent playthru b/c I waited too long to visit his HQ after the hit & run with one of the rogue AIs. So that's another whole series of missions to add to this list.

Updates and new info here: UPDATE: Many of these aren't an issue or even missable anymore since at least 1.5 and 1.6 Venus in Furs: You can crack the credit shard but you must pop Royce in the head before he accesses/uses it. Money + quest. Riders On the Storm: This will only expire if you start the quest and leave Panam waiting.

I think Riders of the Storm only used to fail if you talked to Panam, chose to meet her at the encampment instead of taking the van, and then buggered off for 24hrs

Something worth mentioning about I'll Fly Away, normally Mitch sends you a text message (it's easily missable if you don't pay attention to the phone and messages received) asking you to come to the camp and help him and that's when you should go do it imo

"I'll fly away" is a reference to the old Southern Baptist Gospel song about death and the afterlife. It goes like this: "one bright morning when my work is over I'll fly away, fly away home glory glory I'll fly away in the morning". There are a bunch of different versions from different artists with different lyrics, it is commonly sang in churchs. Matisyahu has a pretty awesome version if anyone don't know him he's a badass rap/reggae/rock Jewish musician I'm not even slightly religious and I love his music.

The credit thing with the maelstrom gang you can actually take the money off the shard and leave the bug on there. This will still allow you to side with Meredith and get a heap of Eddies

Thanks for this, looked it up after learning about the rollercoaster job for the first time. Two playthroughs, had no idea. Never heard of that Coin Operated Boy questline either, will have to look into that. On a strange note, I actually got Kold Mirage randomly in my most recent playthrough, when I was doing the Big in Japan job. I hadn't done Spellbound yet (got it much later, in fact), and I don't think anything triggered it. Just got it out of nowhere.

Picked up on most of these beforehand. I really like The Highwayman, which I only found out about from your previous video. That is a very good quest, but my major criticism there is that you have only one extremely brief glimpse of that photo - very literally, "Blink and you miss it".

@@nvfury13 Yes, it is. But, as already said, you get exactly one VERY BRIEF look at the photo before it disappears forever. A one and a half second look, tops, probably less. Maybe a recent update has changed this - you tell me.

I'd never seen the Ofrenda quest at all until I ran as a StreetKid, and thought it might even be StreetKid specific. It's a beautiful bit of story, especially if you actually like Jackie (and I did -- I mean, he's a goober, but he was a good partner and even three play-throughs in, I kinda wish there was a variation where you could run the whole game WITH Jackie)

I just wish they hadn't skipped the first act to be honest. Not much they can do about it now unless they're willing to insert a full expansion's worth of content into the start, but it would have been nice to spend more time with Jackie and T Bug to make it feel worse when the end of the Konpeki Plaza job comes up.

@@TripleBarrel06 They already make it feel pretty bad -- what's there already makes it feel like these guys are going to be Your Team throughout the game, and then you lose them AND you're screwed, leaving you with nobody you know you can trust. It's pretty effective as it is, and there's a rule of thumb in storytelling that you should start your story as late in its internal chronology as you can and not lose context. That said, I would not have been upset to have more time with these characters.

I just did the one with the car yesterday I was playing on the last possible save. Hits bumps like a beast.

Nice. There were a few that I didn't know about so definitely going to check them out in my current playthrough. My general tip for Panam's entire questline is to pretty much do all her quests as soon as you can and also keep checking the map for other quests the Aldecaldos might have regularly. There's also the Peralez quests that only appear after street cred is high enough and I believe you also need to find Evelyn with Judy too. The first part usually happens quite quickly but the continuation quests will take time to trigger. So if you rush to end game, it's easily missable. Ozob also has a sort of a hidden extra Beat on the Brat quest that only unlocks after you help him.

Ozob is quite the character! I blew his head up in one playthrough and that was epic. Kinda wish he had more quests even though he seems psychotic enough to turn on you mid mission coz at one point he says you have a stick up your ass and I almost drew my gun on him. Lmao

@@ezrathree. I can't confirm this 100% but apparently if you have gorilla arms with the electric mod, then it's easier to blow up his grenade during the fight with him. I do believe this is true since the last time I fought him, I had the animals bleeding knuckles mod and not the electric one and he did not blow up.

I was able to play The Prophet's Song in my first play-through, but I didn’t get it in my second and current one. Honestly I probably either just missed it, was too late, or maybe I was there at the Nomad interaction and let him be killed because of my tendency to try and make different choices the second time around and I just forgot. Oh well.

A while ago there was an ad for C2077 on youtube. Featured a woman with a huge amount of implants (the deadly kind). She had mantis blades. Anyway, she's one of the cops in the quest Bullets. Bullets is also the name of the song (by Archive) that played during the advert.

Yeah the way they are dished out over time means you can get to the final quest and think you're all done. But pass a few days though and suddenly Dino, or Kerry are hitting you up.

So I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this or if I was just lucky with my playthrough, but I did a recent playthrough with version 1.52 of the game on Steam. I had finished all of Panam's quests up to and including Queen Of The Highway and the car and related quest Dressed To Kill was still available on my map.

@@handsomeTez i finished all of Pan's questlines and the car just was sitting there, i saw it after i had cleared half the map of ncpd quests, almost all of the hidden gems (i use the 'missing person's: fixers hidden gems mod' to give me a lore friendly way to do these) and all of the gigs that the fixers offer..(well, i think Rogue's holding one or two out on me XD) i was wondering why i had a car sitting out there, so i drove up on Scorpions bike, and there it was. i hadnt visited that area, but kept seeing it and though tit was one to buy tbh (1.61 patch)

I feel like I'll Fly Away is way too easily missable unless you're obsessively scanning your map for side quest icons. I completed Riders On The Storm and almost immediately after I got the text message from Panam to start the With A Little Help From My Friends quest (I had probably waited 24 hours to reset a shop or something). The end of that quest triggers Queen Of The Highway, which automatically starts and literally gives you the objective to wait another day until the Basilisk is ready, which I of course immediately did because why wouldn't I? I never got any text message from Mitch at any point indicating there was anything noteworthy with him, and that 20 minute gap between Riders On The Storm and Queen Of The Highway starting proper is apparently the only time in which this quest is available. Oddly though, I still somehow had the Scorpion figurine in my inventory, because I noticed while placing the Inactive Chimera Core from Phantom Liberty on the table in my apartment that I could also place down the figurine next to it. I have no idea where it came from. In fact, it was trying to look up why I had some random Scorpion figurine that I learned about having missed the I'll Fly Away quest.

I did the 6:39 quest way too early in my playthrough, had no real idea what I was doing yet, died multiple times, and didn't really know about the multiple ways to do nonlethal takedowns other than blunt weapons, which are hard to do as a starting player against guns. But I finally beat them all only for the monk to reprimand me for killing, so thanks to that(and the Cyberpsycho gigs) I've tried to do most things nonlethally, though if it's an NCPD gig or something and I find evidence about how awful that group was(Pretty much always if it's Scavs or Maelstrom) , I'll go ahead and finish them off.

I completely missed the Love Roller Coaster. Found the rest. I've only done one play through(as Corpo) and started a 2nd as Street Kid long ago but never got past The Heist with it. Might have to start playing again. I don't think I've played since patch 1.06(on PC)

just as an aside, you can get prophets song fairly early story wise...or rather I'm not sure what the trigger is. I just completed it in my playthrough and the only things I've done are panams quest, all of the gigs available at my current story level, and phantom liberty (which seemed to be tied to a level and not story completion percentage)

i only missed 3 of them, well 2 of them. Dressed to kill was broken and sometimes the car would glitch through the ground even at the earliest points of the game. Feed teh cat I missed and the one with no quest markers.

I have a problem: I've done the whole "Panam Palmer"-Questline and the "Dressed to kill"-Quest was aviable AFTER that. Now i can't trigger the vehicle and quest "Dressed to kill" because i've fully completed Panam. Does anyone have a solution to this problem ? Or do i really have to begin a whole new savegame to trigger this side mission ?

I missed the cat and I think the free car at the end

Somehow I have listened to Gary the Prophet multiple times, until he disappears, but have never gotten the rest of the quest to show... but this was all prior to 1.5 I believe. Guess I need to try that again in my current play through.

Hmm. This could use a stand alone guide tbh - I should have added more detail to this video too. But unless you're bugged in some way, this is how it should go: Listen to him until you get an option to talk then pick a response. Then donate. Walk away / wait for time to pass and then come back and listen to another one of his theory. Repeat this process four or five times until you hear him talking about a Nomad related theory. At that point you'll be on track to getting the quest.

@@handsomeTez I have gotten that far previously, but like I mentioned, a new quest marker never popped up that I can remember. There may be a timed element to it as well, as I believe I was very close to the end by the time I attempted it.

@@BertLensch I think you have to be past Act 1 to initiate that quest. Idk, I couldn't get that Quest in Act 1 but I eventually got it later

This game is so full of surprises. I’ve play through the game three times still I have missed 1. the roller coaster, 2. I’ll fly away, 3. The highway man 4. The tech cat. I’ll have to go for a fourth round when the Phantom Liberty is out.

I didn't know some of them were missable (except ones like Venus In Furs). I think there may be one on the list I wasn't aware of (one with Mitch I think it was) as I tend to be pedantic and do them all as soon as I can.

Yeah it's a safe way to be. unless one of those ones you get locks off another one. Like Double Life and the Roller coaster one. That one annoys me still.

I'm actually quite pleased that I found all these organically by being relentless in my usual way of max exploration. Granted that was a year and a half ago now. Just got lucky?

"Corrupt NCPD" is almost an oxymoron, but "Only Pain" is one of the few occasions the NCPD were actually pursuing justice. Vigilante justice, but still justice. lol If memory serves you need to be on Street Kid lifepath to get the whole story. I prefer Corpo Lifepath because it has WAY more content overall, but Streetkids get a dialogue option that reveals these Cops were actually engaging in vigilante justice. Apparently this guy gave another cop's daughter an XBD that killed her and got away with it because of his corp connections.

Yup! It's in one of my videos. Just a red version of the Shion Coyote. Totally not worth sacrificing an entire questline and ending for.

From what I've noticed; if you do miss the quest with Jackie? Mama Welles will send you Jackie's bike keys straight to the front-door of your apartment. It'll be in a little bag next to your front door if that happens. It's actually fine, but definitely if you like Jackie? It's worth doing his quest w/ his Mama and the Ofrenda.

We don't get any messages from Mitch for this mission to appear anymore, right because after the mission to save Saul, when I looked away from the area and looked at my map, this mission was visible and there was no message from Mitch. (Have you received any messages for this task I'm playing version 1.6 and had the same situation in 1.5) (We used to get a message from Mitch for this quest to appear, but I guess they removed it with the updates)

The mission where you fix the rollercoaster and ride it with Johnny barely even stays up on the map. It doesn't even make sense lol It will exit after Double Life but at that point im still at the start and wasn't anywhere near Pacifica. Kind of side mission design is that? lol

I've always questioned their choice on this one. Makes no sense to me to have a quest in a place only available at a time when you wouldn't even be there.

Cold mirage Triggered was before spellbound in my First playthrough. But yeah as you Said, in my current one I had tob go through spellbound First.. very confusing🤔

I think 1.5 and 1.6 have done a lot to make most of these unmissable now. but I think there is still potential for glitching. Also I think Highway Man is still hidden, but I must check.

I sent Jackie to Vic's this play through, as I sent him home every other time. I don't know if this is new to 1.6 but Mama Wells sent Jackie's keys to my apartment in a package.

That's been there since the start. You always get Jackies Arch, thankfully.

There's one more. Right after the ofrenda meeting (Jackie's funeral), you can go back to the bar where you'll meet two Valentino gang members messing with a drunk corpo guy. If you decide to help him and defeat the Valentino guys, you can talk to Pepe Najarro and he'll later ask your help about his wife whom he suspects is cheating. You can check out the rest of the story yourself...

Yeah I really quite like that string of quests. Nice addition.

I hope when the DLC drops, new game + would be a thing, increased lvl cap and additional skill trees. That's the only reason I'll play this game again.

This is not Borderlands. Lol I think CDPR were kinda turned off by it when they were forced by the powers that be to release it unpolished. It's a shame coz it's such a beautiful game but I think they'd much rather move on to other successful projects. Pearls before swine...We are the swine in this case coz I think it would've been game of the year if they took an exra year to debug everything and thay wouldn't have had to deal with the backlash thay got when thay released it.

Absolutely. Every time they drop the phrase "Pearls Before Swine" throughout the game I think the same thing. And I too think they'll drop the DLC (Not expecting much from it - hope to be disappointed), and then move on.

So it there a quest related to an arcade? Found an arcade somewhere. Think near Mama Welles bar. Wasn't leveled enough to take out enemies there yet. But seems like it might be related to a job or mission? And know there's one with a ripperdoc somewhere. Just haven't found it yet.

@@handsomeTez Nah not that. I was just wandering around and I think some Maelstrom were all hanging outside. It was maybe early act 2. Way too strong for me and keto dying. But you could walk in. Eh have to go explore again. Game is fun!

Man, sounds like there's a ton of unmarked quests in this game. I thought I nearly completed all the side quests.

riders of the storm seems to have its time increased, many in game days past before i did it. and most quests seem to have markers now since 2.0 thank god! as cool as the time mechanic is on paper failing a quest because the game showers me with them and i decided to do a different one sucks!

Agreed! And this is one video that I am glad is pretty out of date. I hate missing quests, and know I'm not alone in that.

Nice got all these also not a gig or anything but if you didn’t know you can meet the monks again the one with cyberware and his brother u saved near jig jig street and talk to them about their views on the biochip and Johnnys view on it I found it after talking with Judy after that biz with maiko and that quest

Yup, very cool. Love all these little touches. So much work went into this.

Re: Happy together, the cops mission. Even if you visit the Colombarium you may get the worst ending. You have to tell the cops who and what the guy's friend was. I didn't want to embarrass him... So messed it up. Prophet's song: no need to do Aldecaldos thing. My first playthrough I hadn't, ended in fisticuffs with the nomads. Dunno what happens if you do it after meeting Panam. You can do it early too, like I did. Venus in furs: as a nomad,if you find the right terminal, you can tell Stout who the mole is. Also there are some triggers that may trigger and it's Gilchrist who comes to meet you as you exit the Maelstrom base. I also just now experienced the bossfight there. Yup. Kill the big guy the second you can. He's nasty when you're low level. Also the boxing match with Ozob is easily the hardest. Just poke his nose a few times and it is the easiest.

Ozob is a unit! The good thing is he is slow and you can whittle him down. Razor the same. Tough fights. Love Ozob though!

@@handsomeTez On second play I completed Beat on the Brat finals before Ozob match. Had the Warpdancer and the mods that allow for 10 seconds at 1/10 time. Legendary gorilla arms and Animals' knuckles on it. Rhino and Razor both took a couple of seconds. Ozob... Nope. Eventually I poked his nose enough times accidentally when fighting him. His toughness is ridiculous.

@@jaanikaapa6925 Weird...I found Ozob to be pretty easy compared to the others. I could be wrong, but if you do the Beat On The Brat quest out of order, seems like you have LOTS of trouble. I tried to take down Rhino before the Twins and the kid with the car and pregnant wife...couldn't do it nohow. When I did them in order, starting with Ozob, it was a lot easier. Yeah, that surprise ending with Ozob was...well, a surprise. I actually felt a little bad about it.

It seemed like the obvious choice in cynical Night City. But when I realized that wasn't the right choice ... I had to do something I wish I could do in real life, sometimes - reload a previous save.

This is true!

Can confirm that Losing My Religion times out if you don't complete it within a certain timespan - perhaps within the same act that you first get the mission? If you miss it then some time later you will encounter the two monks again and the one you spoke to previously will berate you.

If yiu save the monks brother later in the game when you help judi save clouds right after the Tyger Claws boss meeting when Judi finishes talking to you you can go to the left the monks will be there and additional conversation will happen.

The interactions are so complex, it's great!

I repaired the roller coaster and went for a ride the first time I went there. Do I get the job anyway later? "Only Pain" has now a quest marker, just did it today. Also, "Riders in the storm" doesn't fail after 24h ingame, I waited much longer before I did it and nothing happened. "Spellbound" does not necessarily trigger "Kold Mirage". I had a quest marker for "Kold Mirage" and found Bartmoss even before I met Nix. I brought the drive to him and did the mini quest. Days later (ingame) he contacted me for "Spellbound". I play non-modded 1.52 on PC.

No, unfortunately, if there was nobody there at the roller coaster then you can't get the job. Only pain, yup that's right. As for Spellbound/Kold Mirage and Riders... Hmm Maybe 1.5 changed this then, I've had this on my to do list since 1.3 and in my 1.5 paythrough didn't test it to break them.

@@handsomeTez I have also done Kold Mirage before talking to Nix in earlier versions of the game.

An interesting point is that i believe on version 1.2 of the game, the Calyburn was just there liyng inside the cave and you could just pick it up, no requirements needed.

Yup, that's why I made the other Caliburn video in 2021 after 1.3 dropped because all the other guides were out of date.

I never got the "every breath you take"quest ive played the game 6 times 7 now. Maybe, bcs i got straight to the final mission after Karry's sidequests where he teams up with the girls. But as you said, need to wait more then a day to get the quest.

I have ignored "Riders on the Storm' for days, (game time) without it timing out. Also, I have had 'Kold Mirage' trigger before 'Spellbound' many times, including days apart. I believe it is more linked with the Swedenborg Rivera story, though not part of that story.
