I added this song to one of my playlists. I drive Uber on weekends. A few weeks ago it had hit late night, city lights lit up, kinda foggy when i was online. I picked this guy up and this song came on. He was like "Bro, you played Cyberpunk too?!" Yep, 5 stars.

@Sidion D'Onyyx I have 104 hrs and almost done(don’t want to finish the final mission, still completing the side quests and other things. Tryna go platinum here lol) yeah it’s a lot of hours but we’re in a pandemic, I think we could cut some slack on ourselves hehe. I’m playing on ps4 pro and the bugs of weird NPCs are humorous to me, brings me back to ps2 tomb raider days. The crashes are less so...and are just so infuriating. I’ve done a shit ton of quick saves tho and figured out it crashes about 5-6 hrs of play. So I just quick save. I’m not exactly fond of the character progression of V, and find her/him quite one dimensional, even with the blue dialogue of their backstory. I think Detroit:Become Human has a better story of a cyber-enforced dystopia than CP. I also don’t like how in the prologue there’s like a 6 month time jump. I would’ve liked to play little shitty side jobs and build my ranks (in my case, as a street kid), get enough money to rent my apartment. That’s a way better tutorial than the simulated one. Also Would’ve felt “earned” to get that big job by that black dude(his name slips by me atm lol) It would’ve made me appreciate my friendship with Jackie more, though I still love him, and ached for his death. The prologue was entirely too rushed imo. Johnny is fucking badass but Keanu reeves is a bad actor so his rants on “the man” feel flat and cartoonish to me, though that’s subjective. I love Keanu and Johnny’s one-liners, but I couldn’t take him seriously and probably why I couldn’t delve into the story more. I haven’t completed my first run yet, but I hear that the 3 backstory options don’t change the outcome of the game, and besides the prologue the missions are the same! That’s some bs if it’s true. You’re probably right on the non-trans journalists playing “savior” though. As a black lesbian I notice a lot of “wokeism” in my community from “allies” that don’t deserve the outrage given. At best it’s annoying, at worst it makes our community look hyper sensitive and deflects from real issues that affect our lives. And I know most of those (probably straight) journalists don’t do any actual activism for the community. Gotta get dem clicks, I guess. All in all, when the game doesn’t crash on me I do have fun, and that’s the most important thing for me. The open world feels hallow tho, just a pretty neon exterior but is truly empty when you crack the surface. The side missions and gigs are the meat of the game, but even they can get repetitive. The dialogue of the enemies are the same...they remind me of the henchmen from the Spider-Man ps1 days...which is okay for 1999 but not for 2020. The voodoo boys were the most unique and fleshed out gang, but that story was really short. Seems like the game is incomplete and I’m sure the devs wanted to add more but was strapped by the necks by their investors(ironic considering the subject of the game being corporations destroying the life of everything for power and money, heh) I have no problem playing a linear game(hello Mario kart) and don’t mind 1st POV( cod, overwatch, etc) but an open world 1st person isn’t immersive to me, though I do get use to it. Tldr; I agree with you, journalists are disingenuous, Keanu reeves is hot but meh as an actor, game is buggy and has character progression issues. Still fun, got to fuck Judy and River and Johnny is hot in leather pants. Rate it 6/10

This song and 'Resist and Disorder' are the best songs on the soundtrack for me. Absolute bangers. I'm much more of a heavy rock/metal guy, not usually here for the more electronic elements but I'm nearly constantly just leaving Radio Vexelstrom on because most of the songs on there are just awesome.

The game really needed some some in-game wearable earphones, headphones or helmets that allowed you to listen to music.... So many times I reach the mission location, but chose to stay on my bike because the vibe was jamming... sometimes music is more important lol.

Honestly the fact that none of Klayton's songs either from Celldweller or Scandroid is in cyberpunk is kinda sad. Closest to it is a song by Blue Stahli which is produced by FiXit (publishing company created and run by Klayton)

Not all. There might be several exceptions, but i deffo know that "makes me feel better" has existed before. Oneno had a group project with his brother back then in which the song came to be. I think there were just minor tweaks done to the cp2077 version.

I like how this and several others are always jamming on a radio somewhere in game. They get stuck in my head.

After putting down some gangs in the desert, driving back to NC during dawn.

This song pulls you in and don’t let go. Even if you don’t like the game the sheer depth and quality of the music it has alone is worth the money. 10/ 10 would burn a city to this.

You are one of a few people to give the lyrics a full go. I can't make out most of the lyrics. The way it's recorded...high instrumental volume compared to vocals, head voice/falsetto singing style, + reverb, makes it a royal pain.

Sober me read this comment that read like it was telling a record label who it had hired, and I cringed a little. Nope, I was sorta more rejoicing in seeing some famous names in the OST! :-)

You know I always imagine this song playing with V and Johnny storming arasaka tower in the don't fear the reaper ending. Like the whole game you and Johnny have come to understand each other and trust one another and this comes together with you fighting together in a suicide mission at the end. As soon as you step foot there this song kicks up and you both blitz the tower. To me this song could go so well with that as it would be V and Johnny's theme of them fighting together to take down Arasaka after everything they've been through and now nothing will stand in their way as Johnny gets his revenge and V becomes a legend in Night City.

One time I was trying to quick hack a dude during a close combat situation, and ended up remote activating a radio that played this song.

Every cyberpunk work always goes underappreciated due to how misunderstanding of being ahead of its time or errors. Then overtime it gets recognized and becomes iconic afterwards.

Iconic is far too generous this game isn't very good. The musical score is, it has potential but CDPR intentionally rushed it out full well knowing it was incomplete. Sucks people were overworked just to have this half baked release come out regardless. CDPR is a bad company, hard to say if the devs cared about the game or not, but the guy contracted to do this song, really did care about what he was making because hot d*mn this is great.

this game wasn't underappreciated because of misunderstanding or being ahead of it's time. It was an extremely buggy mess for like 50% of players on launch and is missing half of the features showcased or promised. It's a really great game that deserves a bit more of a fair shake, but, we shouldn't pretend it was for no reason

This song played during the first mission of Jackie driving me through Night City. I personally think this song encapsulates this game pretty damn well

Heard this song driving away on a stormy night from a hard fought completed mission, and it was a beautiful moment!

The tone sounds similar to Korn's new stuff, so no doubt they were probably using a Mesa Boogie Dual Rec and a 7 string or baritone scale for the guitar tracks.

One of my favourites, so glad to finally have the full version. The music far surpasses the game itself, thats for sure.

Whenever I'm about to do a job and it's nearby and the songs I like in the radio starts to play. I always stop and listen to it.

Despite all the bad publicity, this is still one great game! 👌

Fans are outspeaking the dumb haters after a while. I can already see as soon as the first major DLC comes out it'll be "Cybperunk is great now!" or some such. Smh. On the plus side I've been cured of hate bandwagoning on new games. My personal experience of this game was like "hell yes!" and I was stunned by all the hate. I wondered how many games I had misjudged before for no reason. Came in with no expectations, got a ton of fun out. Now I actually got a new GPU and will be able to see the RTX in all it's glory :). Can't wait for DLC.

Once all the bugs have been exterminated, this thing is gonna make a grand comeback.

Underneath all the bugs and lies, there is the art at its purest form. This music is one of the best that represents it.

This soundtrack has inspired a million tracks from artists worldwide. Most people are paying too much attention to the funny glitches to appreciate the effort a small team put into a game like this. Then again, I am an artist myself. And that comes with a price. 🤙
