Cyberpunk 2077 Had The WORST Launch, Here's Why

Ойындар

Cyberpunk 2077 had a rocky start at launch. An unfinished game mixed with months of CD Projekt Red lies to their fans (like Ned Fulmer) flooded the internet with refunds, horrible performance on last-gen consoles, and game-breaking bugs, gave fans enough to lose trust in the company well-known for developing The Witcher game series. Numerous patches later, the game is in a playable and enjoyable condition. Now, there is recent buzz around Quantic Lab being a big part of the reason why Cyberpunk failed at launch. Let's dive in.

Speaking from experience, QA/QC is a shitfest most of the time, the lack of communication between Devs and Testers is usually the norm not the exception. This is true inhouse as much as it is when the work is outsourced.

Well that sucks man. Thanks for the insight. Mind you, I still believe that in-house probably earns more and receives more benefits than outsourced. However, the fact that developers can’t accept that without QA teams their product would be useless crap is mind-boggling to me.

Although I do not like failure from others, sometimes it is needed to learn some avoidable lessons. Thanks for uploading!

You are a hilarious girl. I appreciate your dry humor about the situation and I agree with your that better conditions need to be sought; and less outsourcing overall

Hey! I appreciate you watching and thinking my subpar comedy is funny 😂. I mean outsourcing is beneficial to the economy overall, in the sense that big companies end up paying their employees a bit better and save more by outsourcing those tasks, and the people working for the oursourcing company usually make decent money for where they live. However, I do think that the conditions need to be much better. Like I used to get paid $2 an hour as an outsourced customer service rep. They don’t need to make it the same salary as US employees but geez, at least give people $6 or $7 to live comfortably and make the stress worth it.

@@Saintwolvinn thats crazy you deserved way more for that amount of stress! Outsourcing IMO never provides high wages in the country it sources to and the conditions aren't always the greatest for those people. The jobs add more to the economy, but overall negatively affects mental health. I would suggest half and half ideally. Make the outsourcing team the night crew - so many people stay up late at night in the US trying to solve tech issues ! Ha.

I appreciate the nutral stance you took with this. I know cyberpunk like many others but we can't fully excuse CDPR for what they did

Hey dude! I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video! I’m the kind of person that thinks that nothing in the world is as simple as black or white, good or bad, so seeing both sides I believe is the best way to see anything and gain perspective. Glad you appreciate that. Have a good one!
