the idea is amazing, if only they achived the result. instead here is music that was old 20 years ago, even the oldest sountracks of cyberpunk cults are a closer result, even after 10-15 years they are still relevant. but i can understand in the end they have to hire artists which have a big fan base and draws some king of mainstream attention and are marketable (you gotta be that normal kind of strange), it's all about the money in the era of the mega corporation, even your music Jhonny.

In which sense sick? Good it's not the only "artist" who makes music for CP. Wipeout 2097 or Wip3out was what we played among many other 20 years ago during sessions. Orbital, Apex Twin, Fear Factory, Billy Idol and the list can go on and on.

To date, witcher 3 was their only great game (I personally didnt care for witcher 1 and 2), and that game is a totally different genre than what they are attempting to make here. This situation is similar to when Bungie made Destiny and it paled in comparison to Halo. It was an obvious outcome. I hope cyberpunk will turn out to be as good as they hype it up to be (its looking to be the first true open world rpg since fallout new vegas), but so far, they havent actually shown any physical evidence that it will.

No offense to CDPR, but there have been plenty of games that have switched the mold of gaming and made gaming more famous then it has ever been like RDR 2, GoW, RE 2, Spider-Man, Ori and The Blind Forest, Metro Exodus, Sekiro, Hellblade, etc. of course Witcher 3 also helped that, but gaming is more famous than its ever been thanks to a lot more companies than Cd Projekt Red.

@@reneepeck8094It totally depends on your point of view. there is a huge difference between your vision of gaming and mine. I bet you've never played witcher 3 before. All of those games you've mentioned are just a game. RE2 can be done in 2 hours. Hellblade is more like an ASMR than a game.RDR2 is truely amazing but in order to create a masterpiece you have to make everything in order. Search the forums about the errors of RDR2 on pc. Its totally a mess. Gtx 1080 on 1080p gives you only 48 fps on high setting, Game crashes most of the time, even with RTX 2080 its only 56 fps. i'm sorry but your vision of gaming is off the map. You certainly cannot compare witcher 3 characters to any other games.

Skywalker I’ve played Witcher 3 and I beat it twice. The game is great (even if the gameplay is meh), but I think they’re plenty of games that are superior to it that have showed up over the years like Ori, God Of War, and Metro. The point I’m trying to get at is that I don’t really think Cd Projekt Red is going to bring life to an industry that already has so much because of many of the games that I’ve mention. Maybe back in 2013 i would agree since the market was arguably low in that time, but there have been a lot of amazing games that have come out that makes me really question on how they’re going to bring back life to gaming even though it’s already here. I’m not questioning their ability to make good games because all the games I’ve played from them (Witcher 2 and Witcher 3) were really good, but gaming has been succeeding for years even when Red was still developing 2077. Still hyped for Cyberpunk 2077 though.

She's voicing Lizzy Wizzy which is an ingame character (that chrome chick with mohawk on the red carpet from the E3 2018 trailer - around 1min mark) which is also a singer in the game. This track will be both in the game and in the OST.

Grimes is a perfect fit for this game.

@CLB Ronin true, but even Gibson's Neuromancer was set in a Japanese city. He also said "The conceptualization involved in cyberpunk is more of forging ahead, looking at the new global culture. It is a culture that does not exist right now, so the Japanese concept of a cyberpunk future, seems just as valid as a Western one, especially as Western cyberpunk often incorporates many Japanese elements." I think Japanese cyberpunk influenced the genre extensively, though the birth of it as a whole was indeed the West. I guess I was thinking of GitS when I wrote that comment, as there weren't many iconic modern movies that were so quintessentially cyberpunk as that one, though 3 years ago there were recent attempts to "revive" cyberpunk classics like GitS and Bladerunner, so I probably lumped this game with those.

Now that I know she's pregnant, I can totally see her baby bump here!!! 😍😍💕💕

The "sa sa sa" - part is actually a really nice sample I know from a bollywood movie: "Bajirao Mastani - Deewani". Look it up! At around 4:55. :)

as a pakistani i immediately recognized the chorus part from the song deewani mastani.

Just imagine Grimes performing Delicate Weapon on Game Awards this year....

I just wanna point this out, the song at 1:06-1:26 and at 2:06-2:26 the background vocals that sounds like bees buzzing, that is sampled from the Song "Deewani Mastani" from the 2015 Indian Film Baijaro Mastani. Needless to say I was smiling like crazy when I recognized it. This is gonna be an awsome game, thank you CDProject Red!

You should know she had an Indian step-dad and listened to all his records and she is highly influenced by Indian music. Interesting that you found that out. That was probably a very specific sample she chose from a record to put this song together. It wasn't just something she grabbed from anywhere, she probably sampled that song you mentioned directly. I've seen her list off her fav bollywood films and classic Indian music very easily, even knowing the directors and actors.
