Michal Figlak vs Fares Ziam - interesting match-up, two good strikers, very differently built though - ZIam is tall, long, calm, likes to find his shots and snipe from the outside - Figlak is compact, short limbs, strong, gets inside, swings heavily and is more aggressive - odds are interesting here, Figlak is much shorter and shorter in range, he is making his debut , plus the fight is in France - back and forth here, I think this is a 50-50 fight giving all the circunstances, I will pick Ziam (dec), definitely interested in betting him at +165

Ziam doesn't like pressure and tends to lose his cool once his opponents can close range, I think figlak style is perfect and figlak likes to control the centre of the octagon so ziam will make that easier for him as you perfectly stated he likes to pick his opponents off from the outside, I have realised alot of french fighters tend to fight this way: manon fiorot, cyril gane, lapilus, ziam etc very few come forward such as imavov, that was gane mistake against ngannou who was seriously injured had he been more aggressive and willing to hurt him he would probably be champion right now. Ziam is more willing to hurt his opponent but still prefers to fight outside I think fig can stay in his face all night and land the more impactful shots and win on points but we will see, in france a close fight may go the other way I just think fig has the style necessary to beat a guy like ziam

Then again fig doesn't throw too much so fares keeping him on the outside could also go to his advantage as he could pick him off at his reach, fig will have to work to get on the inside before getting anything off where as ziam won't since fig will be coming forward and making it easier for him to pick him off at range, I agree with your statement the fight is 50/50 and will probably go to points, was with fig but not too sure now lool

Fig needs to use more leg kicks to slow ziam down then trap him, when he has his opponents trapped he tends to let it fly, these small moments can be a big factor in weather he wins or not

@@therealdarkknight480 Ziam I think fig going to struggle to close range and his style is perfect for Ziam who is literally trained to deal with such styles, he either going to slow it down and be picked off and range or be more aggressive and he picked off 😂, Ziam leg kicks way more than him and will have more to hit since fig legs huge lol, Ziam better check those kicks though fig leg kicks will have more power in it. I think once this happens fig will look to grapple his grappling is somewhat one dimensional compared to Ziam who uses angles and doesn't just rely on force alone like fig, Ziam takedown defence is better than his too so he tries to grapple he will probably be the one to end up on his back Not to mention it's in France so Ziam got hometown advantage I don't see fig finishing him, doesn't throw enough and even when he does he will probably try to grapple afterwards all playing into Ziam hands I think the other guy is right Ziam going to take this one on points
