Don't give up!! If ever something doesn't work don't be afraid to ask to void and re-do your math. Also make sure to scan products in the CVS app to make sure CRTs are attaching to the items you want them to. For deals like the neutrogena where the spend/buy deals are similar and there's multiple going on I make sure to look the exact item up on the CVS website in store and verify what promo they are on (for example the spend $15 get $5 for acne vs. the spend $20 get $8 ECB for the regular facial care and hydro boost)

@@kaylakouponsthis is such great advice!! This used to always happen to me until I used the app to scan every item in my cart to make sure the coupon attached correctly

I did use OTC yesterday at my store. Initially it didn’t work but my cashier was really nice. She tried multiple times and it worked for both tide pods and Downy 103oz though it didn’t print my ECB’s since my store didn’t have that active promotion in store or what I am not sure. My cashier printed those ECB’s as well for me.

By the way, my Neutrogena acne coupon in the app also did not attach so maybe there’s an issue with the coupon in general

I did the Downy OTC last week with the 103 ounce and it worked once the cashier figured out how to work the OTC coupons.

Your downy isn’t 103oz it’s 88oz (the new packaging) they have the same loads listed but the ozs are different. The true 103oz works

Did your Neutrogena Acne $4 IP work? My activate visa rewards got denied. I was told my purchase could not be validated

I was going to try the Downy last week and had it loaded in my link with the Pods. My store didn’t have the 103 oz only smaller so I didn’t buy it, subbed it out for Tide liquid. I was planning to try at Walmart this week. Am I correct that I can still use the same link since I didn’t use the Downy coupon last week?

yes!! whatever OTCs that you did not use on your link will be available to use the next time it's scanned!

Sorry Dumb question so do i apply my ecbs and coupons first and then at the very end after all that has been applied use the otc ?

yes exactly :) the OTC is scanned as a gift card so once you scan it you can't go back and apply more coupons.

Hi I used the otc $5 coupon it worked for me on the Downy freshener but the $5 tide didn’t come off I’m thinking cause I had the $3 off clipped on my cvs app I did today

No it's not because of the coupon - if you look at my receipts at the end of the video I show that both my $5 Tide OTC came off with my $3 Tide digital. It must have been because of what type of Tide pods you got. Not all the Tide pods attach to the $5 Tide OTC - I know the ones I grabbed do attach.

Mine di the same thing, it would not let me use 2 otc coupons in the same transaction!!! This happened to me 2 different times!

Thats so strange because in the past weeks I’ve shown receipts where 2 separate send to phone OTC coupons both come off together. Once it was the tide and the downy together taking $10 off and once it was the tide and bounty taking a total of $6.50 off. Something must have changed in the coding.

I tried it last week on downy and it didn't work

How many time can you submit to rebate ?

For the activate you can do it 2x per household (i.e. per email per device)

What phone number do you use to contact CVS about issues with your extra care books? And have you ever seen certain stores not do promotions? Like the U by Kotex deal is not being advertised at any of my local CVS stores and it’s not on my app for any of my local CVS stores

Thank you Kayla. I will keep that number handy. The other possibility is that I don’t know what I’m doing since I’m new at this on the Kotex deal haha. It would definitely not be out of the question that I missed something along the way during my couponing

When i get the link It takes me straight to a barcode. No option for me to choose a store.. Do i have to be in the store for it to work correctly? Edit, I just got it to work for my husband's account but not my own. . I'm using the same phone, could that be the problem?

Using the same phone is not an issue! The links are separate so it being you to a totally different page. I have only opened up the barcode in store - yes. I think in store it asks to use your location and then you’re able to click cvs and get your barcode.

I have a question my store doesn’t have a 103 and I saw u picked up an 88 oz would it work the same with 88

Unfortunately no because the 103oz pushes you above the spend $30 to get the $10 back and only the 103oz is supposed to attach to the send to phone $5 coupon

The 88 oz is the new 103 oz SHRINKFLATION same price. Dhes saying in this video u grabbed 88 oz therefore the otc coupon wont work

The manager at my store refused to scan the OTC coupon barcode and said I needed to print them out or cvs doesn’t get reimbursed, does that sound right?

lol no that's so not right hahaha my guess is he's not trained on it yet. It even says on the link for the OTC send to phone coupons "show this screen to your cashier" I just tell me cashier it's a gift card - I don't tell them it's a coupon because I know a lot of staff likely aren't trained yet since it's so new.

I think what he is referring to is - let's say you had a screenshot or PDF file of an ACTUAL printable coupon. Obviously if they scan the barcode it will scan and take off the $ value - but since CVS wouldn't be submitting the paper to the address on the coupon they wouldn't get reimbursed. This is totally different. This type of coupon is all internally verified and CVS would be reimbursed digitally tracked INSIDE the CVS/OTC coupon system. I hope that makes sense. Like I said - he probably doesn't understand what type of coupon it is and isn't trained.

unfortunately no - you can only use one. Spend CRTs cannot be stacked like that. You'd have to spend 70 + 70 = $140 to use both.

When using the everyday digitals, do u have to print out a paper barcode for the cashier?

for otc you can take a screenshot and show the barcode and the expiration date

just show your cashier that barcode on your phone and they scan that the same way they scan e-gift cards! they will ask you for the expiration which it will state right above the barcode

The otc coupon only took off $2.75 for me

Which coupon the Tide or the Downy? And then what coupons were you pairing it with? Did you use a spend CRT? Did you use ECBs?
