I have been thinking of trying this for the heck of it! And ironically it's going to go on my Canik Rival -S with a disruptive defense plate that is about 30% thinner than the OEM plate. Thank you for your review.

I am not a youtuber, though I do watch an awful lot of it. I like when channels have a short 10 or 20 second intro with clips that are about to be in the video. Such as something interesting you say in the upcoming video, maybe an action shot from the range (or other activity), a close up slide or 2 of the product you're about to speak on. I think you see what I mean. Like a teaser to pull the viewer in. Im not suggesting you're doing anything wrong as is, just following up on what you mentioned in the beginning. I always enjoy your videos.

A red dot does not make one a better shooter..it will give you an advantage at longer range, but there is a learning curve. because instead of focusing on the front site...you focus on the target. I have been an iron site shooter for my entire life when it comes to handguns, I just got version of this red dot...and it has taken some time to be able to bring up the dot, like I do the front site. So a red dot has all of its own little nuances the same as any set of iron sites. I zeroed my site at 15 yards...because 143 grain bullets will be zeroed at 15 and 35 yards. allowing you to hit anything in between, with a minimal shift in your POI.

Good deal. Hey, on the topic of intro music, PSR has a funny one. Have a good weekend!

So, on a 12 gauge shotgun for turkey, receiver, drilled and tapped, and/or on a picatinny rail, how is the fit? Would you consider this a legit turkey hunting sight out to 40 yards? Or would one need a smaller footprint in the sight body and smaller size dot such as a 2.5-3.0 moa?

It'll fit a picatinny rail great and the big window should be awesome for turkey but I do agree that the 6 moa is a bit large for turkey at 40yrds. They do have the same optic with a 3 moa that would be better. amzn.to/3TIiRAm
