They are great exept that u wont fix the reload on the 40s. When irl u can fire the whole mag without any breaks, but in game u fire ur rounds wait ten sec before it starts the reload. Please fix, it would be much better

They don’t have IRST IRL. Source. I’m a Swedish CV90 driver. They do have a fire control mode to engage air targets. But it only works on targets that are keeping a steady speed and heading.

@@diprosla592 helicopters are indeed a main target for that system. However it still isn’t really a lock. You know how the LRF adjusts your distance? Well imagine that except you measure twice, two seconds apart from each other. Your turret has rotated say 20 degrees to the right in those two seconds. Now the computer knows the distance to the target and that it is moving to the right at 10 degrees per second. So the turret will start to auto rotate in the correct speed and direction. But if the helicopter changes speed or direction. You have to redo the two laser measurements to get the correct lead again.

@@95Karlsson typical driver having no clue how the fcs works. The LRF keeps repeating every 0.1s updating the lead calculation. and for changes in speed or direction gunner has to make small adjustments to keep target centered in sights the FCS does rest. So its essentially same as IRST except the gunner keeps the target "locket" manually instead of IRST computer following IR signature. Source: cv9030 gunner

@@Alec-kd4ps thx for responding, btw could Cv9056 Bill elevate/depress its Atgm launcher 20°up and 10° down? I am asking because in game the launcher is fixed in position unable to depress/elevate and it reallly limits the reachline use of the atgms

Now that we have the 30mm version add the 35 as well :D

Enjoying quite a lot the Strf 90 series

As an IRL CV9040 driver I do enjoy seeing it in game. It just irks me that the ammo for it is so expensive and that it’s slightly over tiered compared to say Russian IFVs. Like why do the high end darts for the C variant cost about the same as a whole belt of darts for the BMP-2M? I get that it uses individual shells but why are they so expensive compared to belts?

I like the Swedish tanks they're so smooth and good and wow the cinematic for this video is so cool it looks like an movie just good all-around

Can you make a video about Fokker and perhaps Koolhoven? Fokker and Koolhoven both developed so many unique and interesting planes!

The CV90 truly is impressive! Over 30 years ago when the Swedish first developed it, they could only afford to create a machine with one 'platform,' so they made it highly capable of serving multiple roles in combat and it wouldn't see real combat until the wars in Afghanistan began ramping up. Like many other technologies of the time, it was susceptible to IEDs, leading to the more advanced models around today. Even still, those originals models are doing some work for the Ukrainians

tech no no vehicle that you can currently obtain is a "half made prototype " as this was stopped with the tiger 2 105 all these were drawings or half built machines so the inclusion would both redact there reasonings behind removing them and have this toxic ass community in an uproar over adding them back like they do every week

Q: Will you guys be planning on adding more modern coastal fleet, or submarines I really want to enjoy naval but that makes it hard!

25 mm was considered to weak, and 30 mm was initially as thought as weak as well. 40 Bofors autocannon was the 40 caliber with enough power. It was already in use as an autocannon at sea and land. They also looked at 57 mm Bofors autocannon, a 57 with a lot of power.

Too bad the CV9040 has a small ready rack. It should be loaded 8 rounds at a time due to the 40mm clips instead of 1 round at a time.

No they don’t load on 8 round clips. The gunner loads the rounds one by one on to three separate compartments that hold 8 rounds each.

A setting/control option allows you to assign a key or an axis for aiming while in sight mode. I personally use the scroll wheel to seek up and down while in a gun sight.

the bofors guns are arguably the greatest aa guns in the game simply because of long effective range and the ability to constantly fire at the target without worrying about reloads unlike 20mm oerlikons which have the nasty habit of running out of ammo at the worst possible time , even worse if you have an untrained crew

The 9040 have 3 shoot modes. Singe 4 or 8 rounds in game is only a autofiremode .. that the vehicle have it not.

UTAAS still missing (for all CV90 execpt the 105). The CV90105 XC-9 can shot Falarick 105 (tandem missile) but he can't on WT, why ?

After playing Naval Today, I had a question: Will you rework the aiming System? Right now its... frankly, it's atrocious. You can roughly aim for the enemy but thats it. An aimin-system like in Warthunder Mobile would be much better, there you can actually target a ships compartment

Q : where is the air tracking ?

I have better luck taking down enemy tanks with the AA variant than the BILL. The atgms take too long to deploy and ready rack is too small for its long reload. Meanwhile the 5 man crew of the Lvkv variant gives it survivability for days.

They don’t have it IRL so I doubt they will get it. What they use is a much more simple calculation based aiming system. It doesn’t actually “lock on to” or track a target.

It's a shame the 105 is a premium, jumping from the 40mm to a 120mm gives me whiplash.

Meh, their alright. The Lvkv 9040C is a bit lackluster as it’s matched against SuperSonics and high speed jets, and it’s VT round has fairly unreliable warhead compared to its predecessor the Veak40 and the German and Russian spaa’s burst warheads

Wieso bringt das Verbundspacket an dem Turm bei der Ausführung C also den Strf 9040C und Lvkv 9040C nichts außer knapp 40mm Panzerung? Und wo sind die knapp 35cm Verbundspanzerung in der Turmfront beim CV90105? Bitte es gibt doch genug Infomaterial auf KZread sogar von BAe Systems selbst. Oder darf man sich nicht diesen Quellen bedienen?

Why is the 9040c in 10.0 same as the op 2s38?

What are the odds on getting an accurate loading system for the 9040 series? 24-round ready rack followed by an excruciatingly long reload makes life difficult when you take into account how many rounds it takes to destroy a tank given the low post-pen damage of 40mm darts. It's also not accurate to the vehicle either.

@@johnjplays5137 I’m aware. I did my service in one of these so I have a general understanding of how it works. It’s not really a lock on feature. It’s more like a continuous laser measurement where the gunner keeps the crosshairs on the target and the computer applies lead. Only really works on targets like helicopters, transport aircraft or attackers going in for a run. I do agree that they should add something like that. I’m just saying Gaijin will try not to since it’s not really a tracking lock in the same way as IRST, radar or optical tracking like on the British star streak.
