CUTTING WHOLECROP BARLEY OLD SCHOOL SINGLE CHOP
A neighbour cuts his wholecrop barley silage in style with his JF1450 single chop harvester on his Valtra T160 while the wind turbines spin in the background. Another Valtra N143 along with a Massey 5455 draws the loads out of the field.
Brings back great memories of my Dad cutting with a Gyro single chop during my childhood and myself cutting with my own JF 1450 in recent years with my MF399.

Great video Alan and Michael. Yeah great memories. Different times now.Could see smile on your face . We all need a lift up on occasions ... a little but great distraction from hustle n bustle. Harvest weather not great in the south east at the minute. As you would say we will get there !

Yes the grass grows again but the barley doesn’t.
Weather is awful. Will there be any extra feeding in that or have the heads gone too hard?

Desperate weather altogether. I don’t know an awful lot about the barley to be honest. I’ll try and get Peter to reply to you on that if that’s ok ? It’s his field.

Enjoy your videos although the audio to hear your voice is set too low or something because I have to turn my volume up as high as it will go to hear your voice. Machine noise then is too loud.

@dronedairys7461 most use a GoPro and the mic has a hairy cover to block wind noise.
