As some one who has just started doing this to his own s1 rx8 I am glad this is coming out now! I think I have a slightly nicer to work with kit than what you are using as the front fender is a replacement part on mine but your guidance on the back flares will be invaluable especially with the fuel filler on the other side !!

I cut for my flares on the z hours before I was driving it from Miami to Daytona for the 500, so I didn’t weld and seam seal, I just sent it. 4 years later it’s still like that, I have to seal it up back there but at least it doesn’t see the elements👌

Are the camo jackets the same ones that TJ sells? If so I’d rather have a throtl one.

Why do you never protect the glass when grinding so close to them? In my experiance the sparks have left marks on the glass when grinding.

Because like strobing lights in general, it's a serious visual distraction on the road. Brake lights strobing when ABS engages or something makes sense to me, but the "strobe-with-every-touch-of-the-pedal" setting in stop-and-go traffic makes you a major visual distraction to everyone behind you, especially if your brake lights are bright.

M. Horcher I agree, which is why I think it’ll make sense to have a remote control bypass for this mod. You think that’d be a cool option? For people like me, I almost never have to sit in stop and go traffic, but for others it’s a twice daily event. The strobe would be a dick move if you KNOW you’ll be blinking people like crazy all the time.
