This may be one of the most in-depth videos of a carbon roof install. Very few actually show the drilling of the spot welds and the work it takes with the seam splitters and heat gun the remove the stock panel. Nicely done!!!! I’ll be installing the Karbonius carbon roof on my e90 m3 here pretty soon!

Love how you've embraced the grills in the design, better to work with them rather than against them. It's almost like the design flows from there, mega aggressive and stunning to look at 👌

Looks the absolute bollocks Imran👊 I bet the labour for fitting the carbon roof was more than the panel cost🤔 Your tourer is on its own out there, when the time comes to sell I’m sure the new owner will have a “ one off CSL tourer”👌

You’re correct the labour and materials to paint and fit the roof is more than the carbon panel. Takes about a week start to finish!

The only thing wrong with this build is you need a wiper blade delete on that rear window. They are nothing but glass scratchers first mod I do on every sport wagon lol otherwise you have reached perfection, gentlemen great job!!!

Almost 4 years ago I commented on the f81 cs vid saying bmw missed the boat by not making a hot 3 and 5 series wagon. Well here’s the 3 and the 5 is supposedly on the way. How the turntables. Also you’ve knocked this one out of the park Imran. Every angle is just perfect now.

We know the UK warranty department well, we’re open and honest and don’t try to defraud them by attempting to hide evidence of modifications. Clearly at this point this car has very little if any factory warranty left, but that’s okay.

If you were closer to me I’d like to work on cars like that.😊 In the past (10yrs ago) I’ve replaced a roof on 997 turbo with carbon fiber one on my own, nobody in the shop helped , so with so many coworkers I’d make anything 😊

So a pano roof would be able too. That would be amazing on a M3 touring.

Wow what a huge job but absolutely paid off. Looks awesome. If I had my own one slight change I would make is to see if there was a way to get a flat piece to cover the roof side rails. Sort of like how the e46 m3 estate concept had no roof rails. Enjoyed the video either way. Great stuff.
