When you stop pushing the material and spin it to do the corner, does that not twist the blade?

So if it’s curving, the blade isn’t coming to a complete stop! I’d suggest lowering your speed so you have more control in those tight corners!

Hi. This video is super helpful. I am finding that when I use the stop and turn method my blade will actually twist. I do release the tension first. Any suggestions? How do I stop that from happening

No, the tension should stay tight. when you stop, you aren't actually turning the saw off, it is just releasing the pressure with your hands. Another way to do it is almost pushing slightly back and then quickly doing the turn. If your blade is twisting while the saw is running, your speed may be too slow. The turns do need to be fairly quick, so it will take some practice!

I tried to stop the blade and turn but it just turns the blade and doesn’t cut where I want it to, any ideas on how to stop this? Maybe my blade is too thick or something??

Is it actually bending the blade? What kind of blade are you using? Your tension may be too loose if it’s bending really easily. So maybe try increasing that

what type of blade? When I tried to turn the wood, the blade would twist...blade to big?
