Because we've been growing it for sooooo long that if we cut it again, we're gonna have to face growing it out again. Even though it's just hair, it gets frustrating, you miss your long hair, you start regretting it, blah blah blah. I think it also has to do with commitment. Idk, thats just how I feel :)

I am very surprised that it turned out looking this good because you were totally using the wrong cutting technique! I was like shouting to you through the screen to cut it by holding the scissors vertically, not horizontally, and it actually looked like a mess up until the end. I don't know what you did there in the bathroom, but girl, good job

even if you go to a salon with that drastic of a cut they will have to cut it horizontally... it probably turned out well in the end because she went to the bathroom to use proper cutting technique

most girls are like "Im cutting ALL my hair off OMG OMG OMG!!!" Then they really just cut 1 inch off. Then they are like "OMG guys look!!! This is all of my hair. ALL OF IT. I HATE IT SO MUCH!!! I REGRET IT!!!" its just annoying.

I originally used proper hair cutting scissors, but because it was so dull...I had to improvise and those elementary scissors which were the next best thing. 2.) My mom has always made me cut my hair short when I was growing up, as short as she has hers in the video at the end, last time I cut it short was 5th grade and I've been growing it out since then. ( I'm a freshman in highschool now ) and I was always so insecure about my hair cause of it always being so short growing up. Saturday night my mom dyed my hair and behind my back without telling me , butchered my hair ( it was uneven and half was long , half was short ) and I didn't know until I got in the shower to wash out the dye. I had a panic attack and I was screaming and crying. Long story short I was pissed off and still am. Keep in mind over these past 4 years this is my only time having long hair. it was past my chest ( big deal since I'm 6'1 ) and now its shoulder length. You guys are lucky.

It used to get caught in everything. Had a close call when I was on an escalator and bent down to pick up keys I dropped. Got caught, but I keep a small jacknife on keychain and cut strand of hair quickly. Hard to keep it healthy. Had lots of headaches and realized it was because my hair was so heavy. Wanted to keep it but I have it shoulder length now and no longer have constant headaches. I do miss it.....

Instead of the "bathroom" I bet she went to the hair salon to get it cut shorter and evened it out for her 😂

+Arielle Nichole Most hair dyes/bleaches actually cause chemical reactions between the hair and the glue/adhesive used to make wigs, so only a very select few places will take dyed hair (the not for profit charities etc don't have the money to buy products etc to deal with the chemical reactions so don't accept dyed hair at all, most likely only private companies who make wigs to sell would have taken it).

Well before this video getting negative comments were very, very rare. Oh trust me, mean comments use to affect me like crazy, but as time went by I learned to deal with it better because most of the time the comments were just plain silly & I try think that those people aren't trying to genuinely hurt my feelings.
