bylt does seem to be a promising company - new and rough around the edges - their shorts have a very scratchy elastic waistband for example

I have a question: Does the Bylt blend have a sheen like the Lux Blend, or does it look more like cotton? I have the Lux Blend shirts, and they have this sheen to them I don't like. They are spandex-ish, and I feel like I am wearing lady's yoga pants in them. Granted, they do look nice, but I don't like the feel. I like the style but want more of the cotton look. I don't want to spend another 100 bucks to find out I don't like the bylt blend either.

I only have the one bylt blend shirt and was not a fan of how it pilled. The cuts shirt is still amazing

I've liked what I've purchased from Cuts so far (hoodie and sherpa). They both felt like perfect fits. To the point where I used them to play tennis in over the winter. To which, if there's too much baggyness or not enough stretch during movements, I get irritated, so being able to play tennis in anything long sleeved is crazy to me. However, their shirts are just way to ridiculously priced. Can buy like 2 LUX blend Bylt shirts (imo better than their Bylt blend cause they dont fray as quickly and feel a lil bit more "heavy weight" but have experienced a discoloration on some darker colors) for the price of 1 AO shirt. Imo, Bylt is like 8/10 on everything they do. I consider them my go to clothing brand, overall. Cuts is more so like the really nice, 10/10, expensive brand that someone buys you an item or two for you for a birthday or holiday. Sidenote: Rule of Threads is a good option for something similar to Cuts. They with stand washes the best so far, they fit pretty form factor, and you can find discount codes/sales for purchhases.

Good to know about rule of threads. I pretty much agree with what you say about lux bylt being an 8/10. Wish they were a little more form fitting but their price point is good

I like BYLT better. The fabric just feels better and hugs the body the right way

Im 5ft7, approx 140 pounds, close to you, i started working out, im looking for my first premium t-shirt. The cuts seem nice, but it is expensive for a first step into premium shirt. Should i start with BYLD Lux? Should i go small or xsmall? My plan is to gain some muscle mass up to 150-155 max. Thanks for your advice.

You’ll be perfect for small in my opinion. It fits kinda loose for me but the length on the bylt lux should be good for you. If you already fit a small then you should be fine

Yeah I’m also 5’6 and about your weight and I’m not liking what I’m seeing for the price. Asos spray on jeans/joggers and Next level fitted basic tees for the win. Super clean & cheap.

I feel like a lot of it is personal preference, I personally prefer Bylt. I’ve returned everything I’ve purchased from cuts due to them just not fitting me how I prefer.

Not for the lux blends!

Love the length of cuts for a 5'7" but way to tight for an actually athletic build, bylt fits great in that aspect without trying hard like cuts but the length is to long!

Good to know from someone else’s perspective! I do really like the cuts short but for best value I think bylt wins

I have a lot of both. Cuts are better in shirts Bylt are better in pants. Hands down

Interesting view point! For me, the cuts pants fit better but bylt pants are thicker and stretchier. Bylt shirts are thicker and more luxurious feeling(lux blend) but cuts shirts are more soft comfortable and form fitting.

That’s the lux fit. Better than the bylt signature

Go small. I’m 5’6 142lb and they still run kinda long

I’ve bought from cuts and the quality was awful not to mention the tag at the back is really uncomfortable.. avoid!
