To get CSE in top10 collges of Karnataka you should have rank within 10K. If he has already getting ECE in SRM (main campus) don't miss it. SRM has got an excellant infrastructure and placement record. NIRF ranking 24. ECE with coding is just a dhamaka! ECE is an 'evergreen branch'. He can get the work of a CS specialist.. but not vice versa! If you are getting RV , BMS or even MSRIT .then only you can think of avoiiding SRM.

Can go for Cambridge

Since I completed my engineering from SIT, TUMKUR. I can tell with experience that if someone is going for engineering in Bangalore he must choose CSE, ISE or ECE. Even if you get one or two rank lower college, better to go with these branch rather than struggling later. Never select branches like Eie,eee,mech,civil etc unless you get RV college(I was a student of brothers academy 2014-15 batch 😊)

sir i getting vit bhopal cse core cat 1, i m also getting pes ece, eee got 20k rank in comedk and 84 percentile. i m thinking of joining vit bhopal after talking to few alumni and they said that avg placement is around 7-8 lakh and median is around 6.5 lakh(bhopal campus). is this decision right? also the fee of pes is too high and i dont think i will be able to afford it.
