I’d have Gary in a heartbeat as he’s gorgeous and full of life. We have had staffys most of our lives and even if he’s not pure he’s still a staffy in our eyes 🥰🥰🥰

Just recently lost my Staffie to cancer and i miss him so much, his sister is missing him. I would say to anyone thinking of getting a Staffie go ahead, they are the most wonderful loving dogs you can get if brought up the right way but love them and cherrish them and they will give you 200 percent love. They have the most daftest and silly characters and are very intelligent and will hopefully give you years of fun and laughter. The only down side is you end up loving them so much that it hurts like crazy when you lose them. I cry as i write. PS, when they are pups leave them plenty of toys to play with and chew on as they get bored if you leave them on there own and have pin sharp teeth and can chew through copper central heating pipe as happened to me they can be very naughty just like kids. all in all i woudnt have any other breed. PS , cost you a fortune in slippers and leather boots LOL.

John Last Dear John, I feel sad for you, and indeed I feel the same way.. We lost our Murdock at the age of just 7.5 to a bad infection, and I still miss him madly.. We have 2 other staffs, 1 is 11,5 and one is 8... A new puppie is incoming.. I hope that will lighten the sad feeling that now has a hold of us all.. We are family, dogs included... Indeed think about loving someone for about 11 years, and then let it go.. Comfort yourself in the fact that your dog loved every minute that he was with you, and now he is up there perhaps playing with our Murdock... And all other great staffs alike.. Keep strong !Gijs

I can confirm that John, I've just lost my blue girl of 11 years due to neurological problems, she became unable to walk and incontinent. I had her from 9 weeks old. I'm heartbroken. Christmas will only ever mean one thing for me now, her passing. I may have another in time, but for now it wouldn't be fair, as the only dog I want is my girl back.

I lost my black 14 year old staffy, Mabel from old age. She was so sweet and cute and I miss her so much. U are right staffies are the best. The good news is, is that we are getting a red staffy puppy in a few months!!!

I haves a four year old Male, Blue Staffy named ‘Bluey’…he’s a big softy and him and my twelve year old, Autistic son are inseparable best friends at home and Bluey’ sleeps with my son, Frankie on his bed with him every night!! Bless them 😍😍😍

I have an American Staffie named Goober. Same blue colour. Watch out for skin conditions as I heard to get the blue they had to alter the black gene leaving them susceptible. Mine gets summer rash and other problems. Not that big a deal. I had an American Pit before him and I miss him every day. Beautiful, well behaved gentlemen.

see, people don't realize it but they are actually judging the people who brought that staffie up. I "inherited" a staffie who unfortunately wasn't socialized correctly and now is not animal friendly. He is the best dog and I love him dearly but I recognize that he can never be trusted around another animal. That's ok with us. We simply are extra careful. He absolutely adores people and thinks everyone is a potential new friend! but the breed is not for everyone.
