Romron Gramsay oh yeah some soaps can be very harsh on cats skin and fur. Luckily I have sensitive skin so I use mostly gentle non-fragranced stuff without essential oils. She still shouldn’t try to eat it though!

@@billion2565 Not necessarily, the path was probably already wet, but the cat might have crossed successfully bc her paws were dry, but once they got wet it became more slippery to her. Judging for the direction the cat was heading at the beginning and the way she was standing and looking at her surroundings

@@holo659 I actually let her stay in the tub for a while after I stopped the video, basically until she calmed down . It's good to show young cats that water isn't scary when the situation is safe. She now loves water and more importantly isn't afraid. She tolerates baths very well!

They're always curious. Its up to you to look after it. A few years ago my husband found a feral cat drowned in a water butt. It didn't choose to drown

Just to ease everyone’s minds because some of these comments are WILD.. Margot is 3 years old now and still obsessed with baths and sinks! I didn’t know she was going to fall in but because I knew she wasn’t in any danger I let her learn from the experience. She still runs to the tap anytime she hears a shower or sink turn on! I actually have a video I took immediately after this where she jumped in the tub and just.. sat in the water chillin. Just because your cat is afraid of water doesn’t mean two years ago I threw my kitten in the tub for a 52 second video that no one saw until last week lmao. Relax and treat people with kindness 😊
