Actually getting a ferret with a agressive or very playful dog is highly dangerous because they could easily break their bones. It’s like having a pet rat in the same room as a pet cat. Unless you are 100% sure the dog is really calm it’s highly advised to not get a ferret with a dog already in the house.

Nadz The average ferret lasts for 7-8 years, sometimes 6 so actually 10 years is highly unlikely.

Please do not put your ferret near your dog. Regardless of breed or size, there is always a risk for either to get hurt. Ferrets are carnivores and will not hesitate to bite and jump, and dogs may act aggressively in response or vice versa.

This made me so so happy. I loved the part where the ferret was playing dead and chewing the treat at the same time

I love how 'play dead' is literally just the ferret laying down and getting treats, that ferret is having the time of their life

Clipper in particular is gorgeous, love large ferrets but never seen one so big with such pure white fur, almost like a white mink. Bravo

Thank you :-) yes when Voxel learnt play dead you could see him go "what, you just want me to lie here and I get treats?!" not all of them find it easy to stay still though!

That's amazing. All of my ferrets had such short attention spans and were more interested in playing lol. I managed to teach one to roll over but she never did it on command

OMG SO CUTE! my ferret would never be able to be calm enough for me to teach her this kind of stuff

Voxel's "play dead" is not terrrribly convincing, as it looks more like "lie on your back and wait expectantly for treats" but I'm willing to overlook it on account of how cute he/she is 💓💓💓

Nice tricks and training. :) I watched the video twice and to me it seems like they appear in the order of smallest to biggest. The smallest to biggest factor probably isn't important but I thought it was fascinating.

I cant even get my ferrets to not eat my hairbrush, how have you trained them so so well 😀😀🙏🙏

When I lived in Germany I bought a pair of ferrets.i used to love running and they would stay right beside me throughout the field without a leash.only thing is they'd steal my socks.one time we had a issue with the sink.when the plumber opened the bottom cabinetry there was like hundreds of socks.

The bunny hop was the most impressive to me.

Surprisingly ferrets are easier to train than I thought 😂 maybe mine just loves treats

Tried using treats and a clicker to train my ferrets. If they haven't eaten, they only care about sniffing out the treats. If they have eaten, they don't care about the treats at all and wander off. Little rascals. ^_^

I love white ferrets. I would get one if I didn't have three cats.

They have cooked chicken or raw mince as a reward, the tiniest little pieces with the occasional big piece, they love it and it's nice and healthy :-)

I had a ferret who would come to me whenever I would call his name......would set him loose under my trailer house he would eat frogs and go after mice....he was awesome 😀
