True. I think it is often because people treat them like dogs. Dogs are very 'in your face' and 'give me attention!'. If you go up randomly and pet a cat in the same manner as a golden retriever, it will most likely scratch your eyes out. As with everyone really, you need to read the body language if you want to communicate in a positive way.

@3,14 _ I'm not brainwashed, its just my cat is always there for me and makes sure to cheer me up when I'm sad and follows me around all day, she comes to cuddle in the morning and really helps with my depression. In my experience all of my cats have been really loving and loyal and I know not all cats are the same but I'm just saying what I feel from experience. (Btw I didn't watch much Disney as a kid or even now as a teen so I'm not sure what you mean but...)

I could literally lie in bed and pet a cat all day... while occasionally trying to read.

I do that on my days off because I'm usually working long hours

I know cats aren't cold, because I was blessed to have the sweetest girl. She was my best friend, came to me when I got home, cuddled up to me, gave me head bobs, and called to me when she was downstairs and I was in my room, just because she wanted me down there with her. I miss my baby girl every day, but I also feel happy that she was in my life.

It's been two months since my brown tabby boy went to the Rainbow Bridge @ 15 years old. I miss him dearly.

Cats are not "arrogant or cold." They simply are not needy creatures like dogs are. Cats are independent. When you win over the love of a cat, you have really accomplished something!

When I got my first cat Katrina as a kitten in 1981, she climbed up onto my bed and fell asleep on the pillow next to my head. She woke me up at 5am by gently batting at the rapid eye movement under my eyelids as I dreamed. I opened my eyes, and fell in love in that instant. 😻 I had her for nine wonderful years.

I get kisses all the time. Missy gives me smooches and reaches out when we walk past her. I think they’re very affectionate. 💕

My cat Cash was a rescue...he was so loving! Hed bathe me and lay with me after seizures. He was the most loving cat in the world.....I miss him everyday

At 2:07 the kitty tells the Boston Terrier to go away----she's mine for now! The next one after, the little kitten mews will melt anyone's heart. When this heat finally dies down maybe in September I'm going shelter shopping for a cuddlebug, hopefully a black one as we lost one recently.

Oh, they certainly know it. Cats are cats, that means that if humans think they're cute, then other cats find them REALLY cute. That's why huge numbers of feral cats can quickly become a problem.

My cat died today morning.A week ago Before she felt sick she showed me how much she love me. Yesterday she said goodbye to me.... Cats are really wonderful

My husband and I have had 14 rescue cats. We had a tabby that someone had declawed.(I hate that)! He would get in our backs and give us a massage. He wouldn't leave us alone until we let him do it . We have 2 left. (14) and (7). We lost the other ones from old age, pancreatic and bladder cancer, diabetes and one by a dog that got if his leash(neighbor). We loved them all. They all had their own personalities and quirks. I love all animals but cats are my favorite. My husband said he won't have anymore after these 2 pass on. I bet him $2,000 he would. He gave me the money already because he said he would lose! 💓😹😻🐈💓💯

What a stress reliever this video is! Cats are so wonderful to help us calm down. My kitty likes to sleep on my head and hold it like a beach ball. I have central apnea where my brain does not tell my muscles to breathe and one night my ventilator failed and my dear kitty jumped all over me and woke me up. Do I love her? Yes...she saved my life! Thank Jesus for cats!

@@paulmurphy6496 Bless your heart--When my 19 year old poodle was dying I cried and begged the Lord to not take her and He spoke clearly and firmly to me and said, "She's MY dog." This gave me complete peace- for it is true- They are HIS animals. And what a wonderful thing to know that they are in HIS hands. Later, a bunch of little kids drew me a picture of Jesus holding the poodle and I am sure they were right. He was doing so. And He is holding your kitty as well.

My 1st kitty was an Orange Tabby (I assume it’s the same breed you’re talking about). We got him when my siblings & were teenagers. He became very affectionate with us kids; not so much with our parents. He was so beautiful, graceful & smart. How we loved our fur baby!! He got us hooked on felines 💕

Not all mammals are warm & furry & cute & cuddly. Avoid bears at any cost. Stay away from large cats like lions/tigers too. They will kill you. Even beavers have been known to kill people (I'm in Canada and we have lots of beavers. They have, in fact, killed people on occasion.)

I hope in the next life after this old world has passed away that all the cats that I own will be there in my eternal life !!!!

Every now and then when I get home from high school I just lay down on the floor and my cat stops whatever he's doing and lays down right up against my belly. He's so adorable and we have such a close bond.

I love a man who loves cats. Actually, l love a man who loves all animals. It says something about his character. As for other women - if she loves animals it's the same. That covers everyone in here.

Cats , just as dogs are , are the sweetest pets , theyre just beautiful and so affectionate , so loving and so kind and super smart ,they know everything.💖 My little love , my lovoing daughter Pookie , when she wants my attention , she stands on the kitchen table half sitting and half standing and puts her head and neck right on my chest because she wants the baby at my breast treatment she wants me to hhold and cuddle her this way and i tell her she kniws exactly how to get what she wants from me that mother and daughter have lways been this close , that she knows shes going to be fed , groomed , played with , etc.And she knows the words whos hungry ? and snack time treat time and mommy has feesh water for you and she knows her name and i love you and understands everything i say ., shes such a sweet precious little child .Animals cats are great and ive lways hadpets in my life and i always will, as theyre the best . @@paulmurphy6496 Im so sorry for the loss of your beloved cat , as i know how painful it is to lose someone you love .When i lost my dogs and cats that ive had for so long my heart was devestated ; so i feel your pain , honey .My deepest condolonces to ypu for your beloved cat .I lost my beloved daughter my cat Fluffy, 13 years old , loving little sister of Pookie 3 years ago August 28th to 2 m.alignant anal tumors under her tail as the vet said he couldnt save herand im still not over it , you never stop loving the one who gave ypu all their love for God created that little pet out of love. @@annacyklamen7088 Zasługują na pomoc, pomagam jak mogę takim kotkom. Kiedyś pracowałem jako wolontariusz w schronisku dla zwierząt, a dzisiaj nie mam dużo czasu więc tylko pomagam finansowo organizacjom które zajmują się pomaganiem niechcianym i opuszczonym kotkom.

@@annacyklamen7088 Moja kotka właśnie była kiedyś porzucona, wychudzona i bardzo chora. Znalazłem ją pół żywą przy śmietniku. Ale po 3 miesiącach miłości i jeżdżenia po weterynarzach przeszła metamorfozę i teraz jest kochanym i zadbanym kotkiem.
