@@OlivertheBeagle I think this is most dogs actually. When I was little (6 or 7) I had a beagle named Freckles and she didn't like the mallow but LOVED the graham crackers. My two other dogs I grew up with (a schanuzer mixed and a Poodle mixed) didn't care for marshmallows either unless they were raw.

Hot chocolate isn't the same without them but otherwise I find them too sweet. Too many bags were forgotten in the pantry then turned stale and rock hard.

He has to be the luckiest dog in the world, just one adventure after another.

@@amtrakatsfnyc Yes, remember Snoopy had a whole Beagle Scout "troop" that consisted of Woodstock and his friends, and they used to go on hikes. I became a Snoopy fan when I got my first beagle in the '70s.

Jack the Beagle's Mom I lost my first Beagle last year in August after being together for 14-1/2 years with her. Thought I would never get another Beagle but Jack came to live with me last September. I still miss Molly. I cry once in a while because something Oliver does reminds me of her. Jack is helping me through all this.

I know ne too. I had to put mine down August 6 2021 14 half years old. When they her relaxing meds before final shot she cried out loud & tears ran down her face begging me to ket her die naturally & she didnt want to leave me

My girl dies on April 29th and when I had discussions with her vet, I made a promise to my little girl that there would be no euthanasia, that she would die in her comfy bed, in her home and I kept my promise. I made her warm and comfortable and I let nature take its course. Seeing that she wasn't going to get better, i would have a hugging and rubbing session with her every night, and the Thursday night before she passed, we spent two hours cuddling and massaging her paws and my telling her she was a good girl and how much I loved her. She died quietly and peacefully around 5:45 ish on Friday, April 29th. I get her ashes back from the vet tomorrow.

Oliver was so cute on the air mattress, thinking “dad, what happened to our townhouse and our big bed, is this where we sleep now?” Such a sweetie pie.

You guys are braver than I. I’ve had three beagles and wouldn’t have dared to let any of them off leash for one second in a campground. They all developed temporary deafness when off leash 😂. Also, nice to see Oliver’s other dad, if only in speeded up footage.

My Labrador, stays not near us, but comes back to us when we walk away, only in out backyard. But if a person, or a deer goes by, We’ve lost him! (Our backyard is a bit of woods. We get a ton of deer and coyotes. So we don’t want our pupper getting eaten by a coyote)

Me too but then I thought I’m just an overly protective doggie mother. Maybe not.

My neighbors let me take their 5 year old female black lab on hiking and camping trips , and every time we are out there that is an awesome adventure .she experiences everything as if it were new , although she's been out there so many times. That and the other best part is we have such a trust with each other that we can help each other out without speaking to each other and know what's going on

Oliver's first camping trip. Best part was when he was growling and eating.😂😂😂 He was smelling something out there and letting them know they were not going to get "his" food. He is so stinking cute!

Wow he really enjoyed the woods, he can run like hell!

When my begal ran like that he slept good all night.. I 💘 Oliver.

Oliver is very fortunate than other dogs He went tours around and go camping trips too with his human dad’s

Yes, shooting stars are rare! I haven't seen one for about two years, I don't think. That was the only shooting star we saw all night, and it's so incredible that we caught it on video!

The meteor was a great catch! Maybe the Southern Taurids shower? Peak night was supposed to be Oct 29-30.

Love every episode in Oliver's life. If we didn;t have a hold of our Beagle's leash in a park like that, we'd have had to camp there for a week waiting for them to come back!

Amazing timing with the shooting star. Thank you for yhe lovely Oliver story. My scariest night camping involved a skunk walking around my tent half the night. No tents were harmed that night.

Wow! It’s amazing Oliver does not just keep running when off leash. My little beagle would have been gone. Oliver is adorable. Beagles are the best.

We traveled with our beagle in a cabin site. She brought a dead bird in the morning. Oliver's video reminds me we should travel more. Life is short, but good with dogs. Love you, Oliver.

Oliver is so creative! He never exited the tent the same way. 🤣

Beagles got to love them, we had 5 all passed on now but wouldn't trade them for the world. Each had their own personality

Even while eating, Oliver is on alert, protecting his family! 🙂👍

It is like bed time story for me .....so soothing is Oliver's dad voice .

That is amazing for a Beagle to not run off in the woods. They are pure scent driven, mine would disappear for hours before returning. The first couple of times were scary thinking we "lost him". Then he would come back tired but very happy and often bearing gifts (dead turtle, etc.)

Multitasking Oliver..eating,growling,munching all at the same time.🤣

I think Oliver liked his f8rst camping trip. I grew up during the 60's &70's and we camped all 9cer. Loved it!

Camping is a huge deal here in Maine. It gets cold unless it is June or July. Doggies keep you warm. They also alert when bears come around. That's trippy. Suddenly this high-pitched doggy howl renders the night air, and you awaken to panting and grunting outside your tent. Always leave the food FAR from the tent, unless it is in cans. Look at Oliver run! This was a really nice video with the gorgeous scenery.

Thank you for sharing this lovely story with us! Enjoyed every moment. I give it 10 out of 10.

I love Oliver!!! We had a Beagle named Mitzi and we had her for 8 years(from 2003 to 2011) and she passed away suddenly and our hearts were broken!! It helps to watch Oliver! Such a precious dog!! Love him!!💕💋🐶

Yeah, it's great! Especially when it's just for one night and you can return to civilization and a hot shower! :)

i had one for 13 years..when he was 11 we adopted his nephew age 11 we didnt know he was.his nephew. the first one always went on vacation in tent. travelled by bus train car bike. was walking daily without leash in woods in Holland.after course ofcourse. now i have a yorkie from Polen and an adopted mix from Roemenie. in between we had adopted one from Gran canaria. also had danish dog and rotweilers. beagles you never forget. i have him in an urn now..

Awww give him a kiss from me, be safe out there. You a good daddies. I wonder if he could sense anything out there. Dogs do know.

BEAGLES are great dogs,just be aware that they need mental stimulation. If you and the rest of the household are at work all day it's a great incentive for beagle mayhem!!! They do not do boredom,they make their own amusement!! Be warned!

My parents bought a beagle when I was born. We grew up together. We had him for 14 great years. He was a good dog!

I'm taking my beagle 🏕️ for his first time in a tent in our Ohio Barkcamp State Park. So excited. I'm so glad you had this gem. I'm looking forward to his first camping trip

The shooting star was the universes way of saying "Welcome to the forest, enjoy!"! I bet Oliver's olfactory sensations where going wild! It was so funny when he was trying to find "his spot" for sleeping. In the beginning it looked like he kept rolling down into the side of the tent like maybe he thought it was a wall (like at home) but it wasn't holding him up lol. Looked like a very successful and fun time for all!!

Some really beautiful moments in this. Love the piano underscore. And that moonlight scene with the music -- very cool! These vlogs are becoming more and more epic.

So funny when Oliver was trying to find a comfortable spot to sleep. Maybe he heard animal sounds while he was eating? That sure was a weird sound he made at first. That’s the first time I’ve even seen a shooting star! I’ve stood in my backyard many times waiting for a shooting star but it never has happened. Thanks Oliver’s dads.

@@OlivertheBeagle A week or so earlier and it would have been the Orionid meteor shower. As it is, it was (almost) incredibly lucky that it went over just as the camera was pointed at the sky.

Oliver went to many places in the world and even went camping! So happy seeing him happy! You all really give him the best experience ever! 😍
