I have watched so many of these kinds of videos but this is probably the most moving and touching of them all. It actually brought tears to my eyes! This gentle giant of a mother, showing such love for her infant and such contentment and peace in the way she snuggles this precious little girl. It is the most amazing thing to watch. It makes me so very sad that we humans have virtually destroyed the Orangutans' habitat through our greed and avarice. What is wrong with us? Why are humans so destructive and cruel to our fellow beings we call "animals"? If there is any proof needed for how closely related we are to other primates, then this video is it.,

Orangutan mothers are so much like human mothers. They are extremely loving towards their babies and are the sweetest mothers.

The look mom gives her baby is so precious. You can see and feel the love.

Can't describe those feelings between mother and child,it can see in their eyes

The beautiful Jazz has no less tenderness, attentive devotion, and *absolute love* for sweet baby Sprout than does any human mum.

That is almost overpoweringly dear. She loves her baby so much.

This actually brought tears to my eyes. Mom is so loving and Sprout (I just love that name) is Soooo Cute. I could watch this over and over.

Probably the most beautiful thing I have seen in years. Jazz is so smitten with Sprout she can't take her eyes away for a minute. I don't know that I have ever seen so much love in anyone's eyes as I see in hers. Thank you for sharing this few minutes with us. How are they now? I would love to see them again.

This video is very touching. The bond between mom and baby is unlike that of any animal or human, this is pure unconditional love. I'm not a big fan of zoos but, I know these two are safe from poachers and loss of habitat. It's beyond me to think that greed would force a man to murder a helpless female just to sell the infant.

I am so blown away at how mom and baby interact, it's very touching. Sometimes it's hard to see them as animals, the care and love is like that of humans. Orang moms are so gental, it's great to watch because in the wild we would hardly ever see a mother and her baby playing like this.

How beautiful

I've seen so many primates show love and affection on videos, but NEVER have I seen a video that was constant devoted love and affection every second. Combined every other video together and I still don't think it would come close to this one. That baby looks up into the sky and it's eyes are like looking into blue crystals. She rocks it, she gently bounces it, kisses it to the point it's turning it's head back and forth as if to say, no more kisses momma! She very gently shakes it towards herself. You can LITERALLY see a smile on her face, the baby responds just like a human infant. It's not sure what's going on in this place it's arrived at, just that momma loves me and that's enough for now. Wish I new if it was a boy or girl and if they've named it yet. I know I'm rushing it! Lol I really don't think I've ever seen a mother filled with so much pride, contentment, and loads of joy and love. Never seen one smile through the entire video either. I didn't know they had a genuine smile we could actually see for that long. No wonder some people believe in evolution because what I just witnessed was nothing short of human like behavior! Just filled my heart with so much peace I had to watch it 2 or 3 times lol it's just a feel good video. I needed that refreshment! I only wish it was longer! Thank you so so much for sharing a little piece of heaven with us!😊👶💞🐵💕🐒

Jazz (mum) had given birth to her baby girl named Sprout, just a few days before and had not been out and about with her. Then I happened to be on site late one day when all was closed, and Jazz saw me, and bought her new born baby right over to the window to show me. It was such a special moment. I have always had a strong connection to baby sprout, who is not so much if a baby an more! The video you watched is and old one, and believe it or not Sprout is now 11 years old, and has just given birth herself, amazingly, at the same time Jazz her mum, gave birth to Sprouts sister. Sprout was not sure how to be a mum, and staff worried about the new born, but there was no need to worry, Jazz has stepped in and is mothering both her new born daughter and granddaughter. I love that one too! I love them all. Orangs are my favorite. One reason is they rarely make a sound but with their eyes and body language they communicate and rarely is anything is misunderstood. They are truly magnificent and intelligent beings. I would do about anything to work with the orphans. I've got so much love to give. That's what they need. I have a real soft and quiet side and then an ornery rowdy playful side. I'd make a great foster mommy. I'm also good at mimicking sounds. I also know when it's time for them to go. You have to leave a tiny hole in your heart to grieve over the loss of one leaving bug joy because they're going back home to the jungle/forrest, and then be refilled by a new one. Always in constant motion. Like a revolving door. 1 out-1 in. 2 out.v111f*[okæ+qq212 in LOL. Life with them has to be grand every day!🐒💕🐵💖
