Folks, you might want to consider the joy some people find in the process of creating/making things. To each their own. If you prefer shopping for used or premade stuff...you do that. But she is showing a range of ideas to use or not. Criticism in negativity not needed.

These are really good ideas using dollar tree fencing materials and antique color is brilliant.

This looks absolutely amazing!❤ I am very crafty and great at doing floral arrangements, real & artificial, and this looks wonderful!! It's actually two ideas in one because if you don't want any artificial flowers or anything in it, you can use the awesome looking basket for something else! Great ideas!❤

I very much liked the first two ideas, the third required more effort that did not equal the final results. On the first project I also liked that the table was a tree stump. It married the basket well.

I think it is a nice project.

If you have a hot knife or a wood burning tool you can get right thru it and it'll be smooth.

The plastic breaks when you try and make the basket into an oval shape. Could be the difference between fence when it was a $1 and the fence you get now for $3. But I gave it a try.😮

That last one was a LOT of work for not much payoff. Honestly, I wouldn’t make any of these. The first two were cute but, they all take a lot of other products to complete which, IMO, runs the price up to a ridiculous amount if you don’t already have paint, floral foam, fake flowers, moss and all the other things they put into the baskets.

Why would anyone want to paint “rust” on a pretty project??

The “$1 Tree or Store” needs to change their name! I was there yesterday. Some items as much as $5 - $8 + $’s! When I worked in retail yrs ago That was called: “Bait and Switch!” And actually against the law. 🤔

Cheap, accessible option for those not antique-shopping for a heavy real iron basket. Not everyone has $ to burn or ability to drive everywhere. This is a quick, rather temporary fix / accent, simply made.

Please stop with the plastic!!! Think instead, if I really need a fake planter, what natural products can I use? Or better yet, do I really, really need a fake planter of plastic
